Well, this is not the art shots thread. I welcome screen shots with FPS counters, HUDs or settings other than high/ultra. It's even educative in that way because people can see how a system with certain specs perform.

I tried these mods before and remember that it took forever to load the game and had a massive performance hit. Is this still the case?

Yes, but moreso the former than the latter. Depends your hardware. I have a GTX570, and without the pack I get a near constant 60fps at 1080p with 4xMSAA. With the pack it fluctuates between 40 - 60 fps. Usually the higher end, but it depends on the scene and how many characters with new textures are on screen.

Loading is still massive, but its only the first load when you boot up the game. In-game loads shouldn't be any different.

Very nice Tomb Raider shots. Got underworld on the PS3 as a free download for my plus subscription. But i think if i ever got around to tackling the game, i'd try and grab it cheap on the PC.

That's just maxed out with 16QxMSAA enabled in-game, it's a really nice port and engine. I did try 4xSGSSAA and it was playable but a bit laggy so I went back to MSAA. The animation and attention to detail on Lara is pretty freaking incredible; I like the fact that the character isn't photorealistic or overloaded with normal-maps, but has these little touches like the subtle wrinkles on the hands in that shot above where she's cocking the gun. Pretty.

I've got the "N7 female armour" pack of his so I assume so, but I'm using other armour (why I got it I do not know). Once I've finished this mission I'll go swap my stuff and show you how it looks.

But it looks sooooo goooood.

Why isn't it working? If it hangs on a black screen when you first boot you should leave it for awhile as the first load can take a really, really long time. Otherwise, are you sure you're loading the right executable in TexMod?

Max Payne holds up really well. Remember it being one the first games that made my jaw drop at the graphics when i first saw it in action as well.
