I don't understand CZW. Matches on their are the equivalent of Dusty Rhodes talking

...and now we are Spiderman

GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY, THEY ARE BROKEN IN HALF.

But, not really.

TNA have a red one. Watch TNA.

Look at this guy right here, he knows what's up!

Was that their Jan 4th 2010 episode (AKA the night Bret Hart came back).. I seem to remember a certain wrestler of Mexican descent (I forgot his name) get stuck at the top of the entrance to that cage? That was the exact moment I proceeded to tell myself that TNA fucking sucks and tuned back into RAW.

That was Homicide, and he's actually Puerto Rican, but they all look alike amirite?

I'm of Mexican descent by the way.

The Rise and Fall of WCW dvd is also very interesting, but very sad at the same time. They had sooo much talent during their heyday, with so many big angles making them boatloads of money. NWO was HUGE, Goldberg was HUGE, Crow Sting was HUGE, the cruiserweight division were putting on the best matches out of anybody in North America, they had EVIL Hogan and Savage and Flair and Bret Hart, and it looked like the good times weren't gonna end. 84 weeks in a row they beat WWF in the ratings, had them on ropes of bankruptcy, they were this unstoppable train of success.

But then you got one bad move after another. The splitting of the NWO/Wolfpac diluting the stable, the Fingerpoke of Doom, the non-wrestlers winning over actual wrestlers, giving away Goldberg beating Hogan on TV, Ultimate Warrior's comeback and that ABOMINATION he did with Hogan at HH98, Vince Russo coming in trying to recapture lightning in a bottle he spearheaded with the WWF's Attitude Era but without Vince's filter leading to COUNTLESS stupid and inane storylines and angles...WCW became a parody of itself, it was burning through money. AOL did what any sensible company would do and cut back on how much money to give to these incompetent business runners.

Which is a big reason why TNA frustrates me to no end, because it SHOULDN'T be as bad as it is. Its run by many of the same people who oversaw the rise and fall of WCW, who should have learned what NOT to fucking do to success in professional wrestling, but keep fucking up anyway, and now its even worse. WCW was an actual competitor to WWE, and in doing so gave us the most lucrative and successful period pro wrestling had ever seen. This isn't the case for WWE vs TNA of today. WWE doesn't even consider what TNA are doing, they're a fucking joke. And that's embarrassing, honestly.

Because Bischoff and Russo are still gigantic marks for the old guys. It's okay to be a mark, but when you're a writer and running the company you need to be impartial and put the new guys over, so that you have a company in 5-10 years time for these old guys to wrestle for PPVs in.

Russo basically still acts like a kid that gets to play with a real life Hogan action figure. You always hear about Angle wanted to start stables and programs to get the new guys over, then Russo decides at the last minute that it's going to go the other way. Like the angle that should have ended in Roode winning the title, and Angle reveals a couple weeks ago that he found out they were changing it to him winning seconds before the match started, even though he was completely fucked up and could barely wrestle.

We need more guys like Jericho and Show (Show fucking loves putting new guys over) and less Russos and HHHs. I'm also a bit mad at Bourne for fucking blowing his push after Cena gave him the rub. Cena's been pushing for some of these new guys and he goes and gets himself busted twice quickly.

edit: oh god at that gif.

edit2: and to add on to that, they couldn't even commit to staying on Mondays for at least a year. They thought they were going to overtake the WWE within weeks and you just can't do that. It took WCW years to finally start matching and finally beating WWF. It was funny too because the WWE actually improved while TNA was on Mondays, and started giving away PPV matches on Raw just to keep people from changing the channel. When TNA went back to taped Thursdays, they got complacent again.

Funny how sometimes she looks kinda "meh" to me, but other times, really pretty hot.

Guess it's all in the outfit. :D

For every good thing they do, something bad has to happen. For a great Robert Roode push, you had him lose at the biggest ppv of the year, then watch his tag team partner win the title the next night, to turning him heel 2 weeks later on television in order to win the title. For every great match that the X-Division would have, you would have Crimson beating up Samoa Joe, who at one time was the biggest thing in TNA. For every solid match by the women's division, you would have Karen Jarrett, a non-wrestler, pushed to the foreground instead of the actual wrestlers. And yeah, WWE does pull these kinds of things as well. But the difference between the two is that WWE is an established company, while TNA is being run by people who ALREADY DESTROYED ONE COMPANY. They've had years to get their act together, and have time and again failed miserably.

Stupid Bischoff. Stupid Russo. Stupid Hogan.

:(

I'm almost positive Bischoff said at one point or another that he was practically trolling the fanbase. Keeps things unpredictable, but totally messes up a lot of stuff.

If what he said wasn't true though, you'd have to think he was trolling based on the booking alone. You can't book that bad on purpose, right?

A little bit of something form the good old days:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lRg5Uvz4mE

Such innocence. Who would have ever thought.
And Cena had a move set and tapped.

I remember when John Cena first debuted against Kurt Angle on Smackdown. I was really rooting for the guy, especially against Kurt Angle, who as much as I loved and respected, I liked seeing him lose since he's such a dick.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAJdjeV3ZuA

It does seem like he lost quite a bit of his moveset, or just finds no reason to use them anymore.

John Cena, the bane of every YouTube commentator, always the shining example for people to point to for the downgrade of their favorite hobby, along with Justin Bieber and Twilight, and hey remember when this thing used to be good. I don't hate John Cena like a lot of other smarks. I used to be a really big fan for the longest time. From the opening tight shorts era to Thug-o-nomics Cena with his terrible but endearing raps, all the way to his main event ascension.

Now he's no longer the underdog, he's the big hero. But he's not badass like Austin, or unbelievably cool like The Rock or amazing in-ring workers like Benoit, Jericho, Angle, Guerrero, etc who all risen to the top in the WWE. He's the Wonder Bread wrestler, appealing to everybody but not excelling in any area that defines the legends. And if I see one more mothafuckin' Cena/Orton match, I'm gonna kill someone. Its the exact same fucking match every damn time, stupid WWE main event style booking.

Nothing against the guy, though. Everything I've seen and heard makes him out to be a great guy IRL, who loves pro wrestling and always willing to put people over. He still has great matches from time to time, my favorite WWE match last year was Punk/Cena at TLC 2011. He has a funny line or engaging promo every now and again. But he's just so vanilla, a character built to be accessible to everybody from his short but recognizable moveset to his colorful outfits on sale on WWE.com, and it doing so traded away much of the unique charm he originally had when he was fresh face kid wrestling his ass off against an Olympic Gold Medalist in his first match.

Word Life.

Watching the Raw AM recap. That new Kane mask is just awful. Fucking awful. I mean it's better than maskless, but...Christ.

How do you go from this iconic mask...

And that's the most flattering picture I could find of it.

Yeah the new mask is dogshit.

Also doesn't help that he talks. Why did he put the mask back on again?

Because Glenn Jacobs could barely breathe in the first one and hated it.

So he was fine with it for 7 years or so? lol

I'm sure they could have made it look better and let him breathe at the same time.

Got to pay those bills. But it interviews he always talks about hating it. Which is why the first time he came back with changes, the mouth covering was gone.

Tokyo Korakuen Hall
1,950 Fans - Super No Vacancy

01. TAKA Michinoku & Taichi vs Danshoku Dino & Maximo

02. YOSHI-HASHI & OKUMURA vs Tama Tonga & King Fale

03. Prince Devitt, Ryusuke Taguchi & Tiger Mask vs Jado, Gedo & Misterioso Jr.

04. Hirooki Goto & KUSHIDA vs Mascara Dorada & Rush

05. Tetsuya Naito, Jushin Liger & Diamante vs Shinsuke Nakamura, Yujiro Takahashi & Mephisto

06. Hiroshi Tanahashi & La Sombra vs Kazuchika Okada & Volador Jr.

First night of the annual NJPW/CMLL Fansastica Mania super-show. Some great tag-team action on this show - check out the the 3rd match which sees Apollo 55 & Tiger Mask take on The Complete Players & Misterioso Jr, match no. 5 as Naito, Liger & Diamante face off with Nakamura, Takahashi & Mephisto, plus the main event which sees Tanahashi & La Sombra go up against Kazuchika Okada & Volador Jr.

Strange to think that a few months ago Okada was doing shit all working at TNA, and now he's main eventing New Japan shows. TNA truly are utterly worthless and NJPW would have been better served sending Okada ANYWHERE BUT TNA. What a joke, especially when you consider what his extended stay in PWG did for Akira Tozawa.
