I have said things like that before and insulted some nice people I didn't mean to offend so that's something I try to avoid saying now :x

Hey, at least that's better than me accidentally/indirectly calling a girl fat. :)

Yep. My mom as well. I'll admit, when I was young I would read a bunch of different stuff on astrology and totally believed in it. I didn't realize till later how purposefully vague it all was.

You'd be surprised at how specific Chinese Zodiacs can be. Time and year were associated with elements too.

I might have gotten a job offer in Texas. I'm thinking about taking it.

Pros: I'd be making more money than I am now.
Cons: Everything else.

I just finished the Kingdom of Amalur demo on Steam. I have to say, I'm impressed. I played through as a Sorcerer class and really enjoyed it. Had a few graphic glitches, but otherwise it delivered. I'm gonna be $60 poorer soon.

I've been completely in the dark about this game. Its got a lot going for it.

Is that Curt Schilling's game?

I hadn't heard anything about it, then I was watching some EA conference this summer and saw this guy talking about it (not this video, but I couldn't find the one I saw.) And the way he talked about it made me say: I want this game!

I enjoyed the demo too. I love the bright and colorful cartoony visual design. Unfortunately it froze while I was playing. You'd think that would put me off, but I still want it.

I had only heard about the game from the Mass Effect 3 cross-promotion, downloaded the demo and now I'm getting it day one.

The world felt a little stagnant to me. I liked the combat but it felt like i was playing in an mmo server by myself. The setting wasn't engaging at ll.

I can see that. There was one portion when you get out from the Well of Souls that it actually reminded me of the Night Elf home area in WoW with the purples and greens. I think if the respawn rate of randoms were a little faster and for the first time I've ever thought this, they needed more enemies in between objectives, were changed, I'd have enjoyed it more. I didn't really find any areas to really get into the groove of that fighting system. I'd just get on a roll and everyone would be dead, then I'd have another great distance to travel before I fought again.

The quests seemed a bit mmo to me. Run across random people in town and help them or not, then it was pretty much fetch quests.

All in all though, I like the combat, style and RPG elements in this game enough for me to overlook that.

Combat was fun though. Played every class and they were all solid. The game really could have used some 4 player online grouping. Read somewhere they are using this to fund the Amular MMO so that could explain why the world feels like it does.

I'm a Pig/Boar :<

They're kind of cute sometimes I guess. I'd rather have badass though.

Yay for Portal 2 winning GOTY! (my number one pick) Posting it there, posting it here.

Too bad I'll never find out if I was the only one who voted for Gray Matter. I'm thinking yes.

Oh, Chinese Zodiac? I'm a Rat. :(

HOERS

I'm not a brony

Pigs can make lovable pets and have had many roles in movies.

Rats are known for spreading disease and being associated with "ratting people out."

What do YOU think?

Many people have rat pets! And they are awesome in The Secret of NIMH.

Pigs are associated with eating too much and if you dislike someone (particular association with men) you can call them a "pig". If you're messy you can be called a pig too, since they are thought of as being dirty, lazy creatures.

Dont forget the hyper awesome rat tail hair style in the 80s. That's something to be proud of. It was the prelude to the mullet.

My cousin (the one who is a Rat) had a rat tail back in the day! My uncles put a rat trap on it once.

So many snakes! My father is a snake too.

My boyfriend is an Ox. And Ox AND a Taurus. Yikes. At least I lucked out with Western astrological signs and got Leo.

I'm an Aquarius. Apparently Aquarius is based on Ganymede who was Zeus' young boy lover. Does that beat lion in the coolness rankings?

I think i remember that, actually. It was mainly used by those tough bastards in movies who would always get their comeuppance. Still looked pretty boss though.

True, I guess. But look at the movie roles! You guys get Pumbaa and Babe and Wilbur. Who do we rats get?

...Oh shit, we get Master Splinter. My stance has now changed.
We can sensuously wrap around each other. Can you do that, rat man?
No, but at least I don't have to worry about Whacking Day.

Damn right.

I like Pumbaa, but he is a little classless. I never liked Babe, and even though I like Charlotte's Web, Wilbur is kind of a dull character.

Why are there no cool pigs?

Well, I guess the creepy boars in Mononoke Hime were kind of cool... but not cool in that way.

In TMNT we had Bebop. Brrr.

I'm a Capricorn too. So I'm a goat/rat?

I forgot all about Bebop, actually. My condolences.

For that personality test, I'm a strong IN but then I tend to be borderline T/F and P/J. I seem to use both rather equally.

Was checking pig characters:

Fener the Boar of Summer, a god of war in The Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson

Have never read but now I want to!

Also, we have Miss Piggy but I'm not sure how to feel about her.

I forget what that personality test told me. Haven't taken one in a while.

I'm a Pisces born in the year of the Snake, though.

There's the dead boar in Lord of the Flies?
