Iran doesn't care about destroying the West, North Korea doesn't care about destroying Japan, they care about staying in power. Nuclear weapons are just a deterrent to being overthrown by outside forces, but eventually their people will turn on their government due to the trash conditions they live under.

Seriously. If you spend another 5 trillion occupying Iran (possibly more, it's huge), you won't be able to fund the military after the war. It's a way bigger risk to defense to invade Iran than it is to open talks with trade.
Who cares what the crazy puppet Iranian president says. He's not the real leader, and even if that guy is crazy he's got Israel, Russia, and China to worry about and they do not like economic instability.

Iran isn't going to do much to hurt us, I'm more concerned about Israel because they are much more at risk here, or even Saudi Arabia.

Iran doesn't want a nuke to attack anybody anymore than Pakistan does. They want it so that they won't get invaded like Iraq and Afghanistan did.
He was largely irrelevant in 2008. I doubt that changes.
I think the most consequential outcome of this debate is Romney convincing the reluctant party actors he's capable of challenging his opponent.

Has Romney ever said that he'd support the military-only version of the Dream Act? Because I swear he's always been for vetoing the Dream Act in its entirety.
It's a completely empty gesture, since English is already the de facto official language. Minority languages are protected on ballots in certain circumstances per the Voting Rights Act, and most of these English-only measures are construed in order to deny citizens the right to vote because they can't read a ballot (which is not the same thing as being able to speak a language).
