Yeah, I think I'm going to top out at $7-800 too. What is wrong with me.
I feel relatively cheap at $340. lol
I'm practicing colossal self-restraint. My wife would kill me if I blew $700 on Vita stuff, which I could easily do, since I'm not getting every game I'd like.
I can get UMvC3 from work for $30, so I'll eventually order it from the company store.
I'd also like to get Blaz Blue and Escape Plan (still may get Escape Plan if it's as cheap as Super Stardust Delta), and Wipeout 2048, but I'm being reasonable, in that I won't have the time to play the 5 games I'm getting launch day thoroughly, so I can hold off on the others.
I can probably get away with bumping up my purchases to $500, but I'm really trying to avoid going over that. A happy wife, is a happy me, really.
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-vs-playstation-vitaThe worst-case scenario test gives us a total of three hours and 40 minutes of play before the Vita conks out, with test conditions in this case involving a non-stop playthrough of Uncharted's earlier levels with all wireless connections enabled, and with maximum brightness and sound set. We thought this was still impressive given the graphical output of the machine, and fits well within Sony's predictions.
I'm not sure where this comes from. It's been positioned as a game that can be played in bitesized chunks (which is ideal for a portable game), that doesn't automatically make it light on content.Unit 13 is a retail game now? This is supposed to be a bite sized shooter. I expected a 15 dollar price point max.
Well, at least you might get Lumines for $9.37.£405. I bet you US folks get a lot more for your $631!![]()
I just read a lot of stuff here:
http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/psvita/index.html
Good read, learned a couple of neat little details on Vita. Oh and I tripled my hype level.
Im looking at between $600 and $700 as well. It's already paid for. I just need someone to put me in a coma for 3 weeks.
What are you getting that pushes it to $700? Vita First Edition + 5 games + screen protector puts me at around $540ish.
My launch stats so far:
PSVita WiFi- $273.26
32GB MC- $109.91
HORI PS Vita SP+PSVita Starter Kit- $51.15
Hot Shots Golf
Uncharted: Golden Abyss
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
WipEout 2048
($167.56 total)

Order Total: $601.88
I'm going all physical at launch... Unless the digital versions are priced cheaper.
All the tax could be another game if you have that option.
Wow, that tax seems pretty high. What state are you in?
Controlling your vehicle is also perfectly realistic, with the twin analogue sticks coming in for unusual use as stand-ins for an actual remote control unit. Which means the left one controls your direction and the right one your speed. We found this impossibly confusing and completely unplayable for the first five minutes, then dangerously addictive and perfectly intuitive thereafter.
There's a peculiar joy to top down racers that's considerably removed from both simulation and arcade racers, and its a real shame that games like Super Sprint, Micro Machines, and Super Cars have so few modern equivalents. With the best games the handling can be just as satisfying as in a 'real' driving game, as you feel your car dig into corners and weave past opponents.
Even from what little we've seen of MotorStorm RC it's obvious the game gets this exactly right. The turning circle for the remote control cars is extremely small and we found this made even time trials an obsessive pleasure. Although this will increase even further in the final game, which adds in your friend's ghost cars to chase, as well as posting lap times to Facebook and an online leaderboard.
I guess that means you don't want my $26+tax Uncharted pre-order? I'll see if anyone else in Toronto wants it.Everything is in place and now I sit and wait for release day.

Wait, how is it adding up to that much? I haven't added things up together but I didn't expect to be hitting that range.
What did they say was bad about it?
