Oh yeah the chuunin exam arc. I remember. From that point, it was all about the power levels.
Naruto
Took me a few pages to get what was going on, and when Sasuske comes onto the scene to equal Naruto's most glorius of broken hax will be the most fabulous rage worthy moment, second only to Sasuske's redemption.

This chapter was ace especially the horrified look on Ussop, Sanji, Zoro and Luffy's face when told to cut loose the fish, Sanji's "headcount" and Brook flipping his shit on the Laboon fakeout. :lol

This chapter was soooo good. I was hoping for a few more under the sea as I love the inbetween chapters but man oh man. I probably had the same face as Luffy when I saw the surface of the ocean. And I really can't believe anyone thought they were going to surface in the usual spot for a Smoker reunion.

Very slow chapter, lots of humor though and I like how much hype is behind the New World. New World looks very fucked up and crazy.

New transformation looks terrible, but the chapter itself is solid. I like the Godzilla feel to these battles.

Naruto 2012, he's making it happen people HE'S MAKING IT HAPPEN. This is something i wanted to see since Part I, where Naruto used the combine transformation jutsu with Bunta vs Gaara. On top of entering Bijuu mode, It seems he's leveled up his Kyuubi Chakra mode as well. Kyuubi Chakra mode V2? Anywho, Naruto is literally a god now, his power is through the roof. The 4th could barely deflect a single bjuu dama, Naruto can deflect 5. Furthermore it seems that on top of being in Bijuu mode, his body is "outside" it as well. SAGE MDOE MADE A REAPPEARANCE!!! Its unmatched in terms of sensing. Jiraiya's legacy lives on!
Overall, it was a solid chapter.

Ahh, I love transitional One Piece chapter. Seeing the crew interact just makes me smile. The Nami shower panels were humorous, if not predictable. (fucking Sanji hehe) The fishing scene actually made me chuckle when at the end, where Nami forces Luffy/Zoro/Sanji/Usopp to choose between life or die with a fish. They're horrified expressions are priceless. The appearances of Laboons pod was pretty heartwarming, though to be honest I think it would have been better if they showed up later in the arc. Next chapter should be good. New World bitches!!!

With regard to power dynamic between Naruto and Sasuke.
Naruto has been playing catch up since the beginning of part 2.
Sasuke was more powerful than Naruto at the beginning of part 2.
Naruto obtains Rasen Shuriken and brings up some balance to the disparity between the two.
Sasuke achieves MS and surpases Naruto.
Naruto learns sage mode and it still not as power up as Sasuke´s MS.
Sasuke obtains EMS and becomes way out of Naruto´s league.
Naruto learns Kyuubi mode, and now this mode. Now they are even in power scale. Some of you have forgotten that when EMS is obtained it creates a whole new jutsu. Who knows how hax it is. So right now Naruto = Sasuke.

The editor was guessing, he mentioned different characters including Ulquiorra and Yammy iirc. All the espada are confirmed dead except Grimmjow and Halibel.
BTW ice palace might be about the royal guard. It´s a guess that´s going around.

I didn't catch the whole sage clone thing, so I thought Naruto's new power up was a Nine-Tail's Cloak Naruto being projected by Sage Naruto, with a giant Nine Tailed Fox surrounding all of them. I'm glad that someone pointed out that it was just a clone to detect the rods, because that would have been ridiculous (comparatively speaking).

Not that I disagree in general (as that is what this manga has become), but that is what the tailed beasts are all about. It's not a battle of ninja -- it's a battle of giant energy monsters.
What are you talking about? Kakashi and Gai fought quite a bit (just not in this chapter). Kakashi and Gai were about to kill themselves to stop that five Bijuu bomb attack.
It's definitely Ichigo's ice palace of solitude.
Sasuke will be Shukaku's jinchuriki since Shukaku and Kurama hate eachother and argue over who is more powerful. Shukaku is the only biju missing from this fight.

Wow thats news almost as exciting as the return of Aizen or Ulquiorra/Jinta gaining a main role in the series. Ichigo Grimmjow was my favorite fight in the series, so a return would only guarantee that fighting will perpetually and continuously again be at an epic upper echelon level.
