Wandering Son 10+11

Anna is hot~

That was a good EP. As expected, kids are assholes, even then, I realized that if this was real life, Nitori would have hat it MUUUUCH worse.

Also, that Doi kid is
totally crushing on Nitori.

For me, it's a tie between Eiken and Mars of Destruction. I doubt that stuff like Yami to Boushi or Kannazuki no Miko can be anywhere near as bad but I guess there's only one way to find out!
Eh, Eiken's not even that bad. Once you get over the art and know it's an intentionally blatant fanservice anime, it's not really bad per se.

I guess not every Sengoku period show can be as awesome as Basara.
If you expected it to be anything like Basara, you were bound to be disappointed.

Brave 10 ep 3

Isanami makes this anime hard to watch. She is so annoying. The most interesting characters get so little screentime (Sasuke) and the hilarious antagonist, lemme guess wont return. I wish he was one of the ten. Saizo has good personality, so Ill keep watching.

I cringed when she got in the way of Saizo
killing the red haired cross-dresser dude. She should just play her role of being clingy-moe

Lupin III 8

Really fun "Saturday morning cartoon" style episode. It's always great to see Lupin do actual thieving.

No, I watched the
aired
version. I assume I should probably watch the DC before going into the finale. The pacing of 10+11 obviously felt a bit too fast D:

Be sure to do that. I've only seen the director's cut, but I can't imagine cutting anything from it.

It's bad. Just because it is blatant about what it does, does not make it any less terrible. You can laugh at it instead of with it, but it's still bad.

This is why Marimite is so great. It hits all the shoujo-ai relationship points while making it explicitly clear that they are not lesbians.
Well, except Sae. And they're probably all lesbians anyway!

and
cousincest
Jane Austen thinks it's okay!

It restores pivotal scenes, so yes.

Sure it matters. If the show's main purpose is T&A, why fault it for that? You can say it's a bad show, but worst-level kind of bad? Eh, that's actually debatable and it really isn't that offensive. Repulsive? Sure.

Bakuman 2 ep 16

Woot finally done dealing with relationships and back to manga. Although I want Ashirogi Muto to succeed I do not hope for Tanto to get serialized, so hopefully Time of Blue Leaves is welcomed more.

The Guilty Crown OST is pretty nice and heavy on the friendship theme, so much English. Friends for best song and that hip hop or something track to, the rest sounds like it does come from the year 2039.

New Prince of Tennis 4
tumblr_lye1es037U1qcgu4mo1_500.gif

Some of these moves should be illegal, balls flying off court. But wow, Im in love with just seeing how more and more epic these moves can get. Wasnt really intrigued by the main match during the episodes, except for the beautiful tennis part. Otherwise my favorite character was featured for a few moments, Echizens partner, which means hopefully they will finally devote an entire episode to the true tag team match that Ive been waiting for and seeing just how epic Echizen is.

It's the freakishly humongous head and antennae.

The antennae are so moe~

Note the distinctive hair that Misaki Mei has, there's always a strand that defies gravity and hangs away from the rest of the hair to the left or the right. The strand changes sides all the time, too. This is how you make hair moe~

She doesn't even look human.

Rinne no Lagrange 01
Found this show very easy to get behind. A lot of the plot elements and story structure seem overly convenient or played out (
like being shown the robot for the first time and oh look, an enemy has shown up at this exact moment
) but the show has a lot of personality and spunk to it. Seems like it'll be a fun show, thanks in part to an affable cast and a catchy soundtrack.

I realized in the Rinne no Lagrange OP that you can actually hear Madoka yell "Maru!" in the background.

I named a character in an MMO Misaki, and people were asking me if it was because of eyepatch moe girl.

Fafner 02:

That was pretty uneventful.
The battle with the Festus ended faster than I had expected. It seemed like they were building up the old YOU ONLY HAVE ONE SHOT scenario, but Kazuki shoots the railgun the second he gets to it so at least we dodged having to sit through a whole episode of pointless tension. The rest of the episode was pretty much just the island standing down from the alert and a scattering of character interactions. Nothing to see here.

Fafner 03:

Glowing naked girl!
How do Alvis's elevators have security clearances while their staircases don't? That seems like really poor design for an organization
with the fate of humanity on its shoulders.
So far, the series somewhat feels like the OVA if every scene was made into its own episode. I haven't noticed a descent into terribleness yet, but there's still plenty of time for that. I'm trusting you guys!

Also, Maya's mom = mmmmmm. And Shouko dresses rather provocatively for a sick girl. No point in getting attached to anyone, though, they're probably all going to die anyway.

Shin Mazinger Z 10

Love the Kurogane 5, but that explanation with Yasu... Might as well just hang a sign around his neck saying
"I am going to die at some point in this series."

Chihayafuru Episode 9-16

Huh, now I don’t know what to do anymore. Guess I have to wait like everyone else now. Oh yeah, that recap episode was bullshit. GIVE ME MOAR!

Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit Episode 8

Chagum is starting to become a real boy! Also seems like Shuga has the capability to become a pretty cool character.

I realized in the Rinne no Lagrange OP that you can actually hear Madoka yell "Maru!" in the background.

Um, yeah? When she does the MARU! in the OP, she says "MARU!"

I named a character in an MMO Misaki, and people were asking me if it was because of eyepatch moe girl.

I still wonder if it would be hotter for Mei to be good or evil. So far the series hasn't really given us any clues either way.

I like how you've somewhat adopted Uchip's haiku-like style of posting. So classy.

Uchip didn't use periods at the end of his sentences. That's what elevated him to God-tier.

; ;

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei 2

imSmh.gif

Oh that hikikomori~
Another good episode, I liked how the stalker bit translated and the middle bit with dividing the cake was hilarious.

I mean like, it's in the audio track. Idk, I didn't notice it before so I was having heart attacks on the train this morning.

Her MARU! in the OP is so strong that it shatters reality and reforms it as a colorful sea of stars and galaxies. MARU is the very power of creation.
