Gay and Bisexual relationship thread |OT|

my ex (gabe) has a friend that seemed really nice whenever i saw him. he randomly texts me on sunday to hang out at night. he said he wanted to talk to see if i was okay after everything happened and then maybe we could go out clubbing or something. i thought it was really nice of him to care if i was doing well or not, so i did. that night was when that guy paul asked for my number.

fast forward to today- i'm chatting with my ex on Facebook, and everything is fine and dandy until i tell him i'm gonna go out to eat. and he goes "are you going with paul?" and i just thought wtfffffffffff. he tells me his friend told me everything that happened that night and that i was talking to all these random guys and that i gave my number out to that paul guy. gabe wasn't upset or jealous or anything AT ALL. in fact, he said he knows that his friend is super jealous of me and thinks that he wanted to "hang out" with me to see if i still had strong feelings about gabe and to lure me to go clubbing so that he can have "juice" on me to tell gabe...wtf is that bullshit. this whole time i thought his friend actually wanted to legitimately see if i was doing okay after the breakup...

earlier tonight, gabe's friend texts me saying "hey wanna go out clubbing again tonight?" WTF. so i just reply "no i'm too tired, thanks though"...i'm so confused.

Sounds to me Gabe is using Paul for observing and gossiping.

Not gabe's style, he's not the jealous type- never was. gabe even told me "i honestly want you to start dating other people again. you're young Christian, have fun." (also, paul is the guy that asked for my number, not his friend)

edit: he didn't even ask his friend what happened that night. he said his friend randomly text him "Yo. Guess what Christian was doing at the club?" so he proceeds to tell him. and then gabe told him "i don't care what he does. he can do whatever he wants." and then his friend never replied. his friend is a crazy person.

Close. I'd say he was a little two-faced bitch that needs to realize that love is not literally war, and that your ex doesn't need some "spy on the other side" digging up dirt for him. He was probably really pleased with himself when he "scooped" that you were talking to Paul, the Starbucks guy.

I'm not saying don't hang with "the friend." But, yeah, now you know that whatever you say to him is going directly to Gabe. Proceed with caution with that one.

On a lighter note, I hope you and Paul have been getting along smoothly. :-)

Paul is the hot guy Cid met at the club, and Starbucks guy just gave him his phone and that's where it ended?

You are correct.

Will = Starbucks guy...he gave me his number, i called him and we planned a date and he seemed really thrilled but he never called me back the day-of. Hahaha and i'm not gonna text/call him, i did my part already.

Paul = Super hot guy at the club that i went up to and he asked for my phone number. I think i'll give him a call tomorrow ;)


edit: oh what the fuck...i just realized...4-letter names...Gabe. Will. Paul. and my ex before Gabe it was John, and before him it was Jack...

That's nice. Only thing I recall about Zephyr was that he was a bit...confrontational? I could be mistaking him for someone else though.

This guy was really cool, from Chicago, has a really cool job working on this Tv show, we had a ton ton ton in common, and we just kept buying "1 more round" again and again till we got a $140 bill, yikes!

Went back to his place, he literally lives a block away from me, watched an episode of Portlandia cause he said I'd like it, cuddled, made out, I ended up crashing at his place, nothing happened though.

I'm trying to keep my feet on the ground here, but it was very nice to click so well with someone, I don't think first dates get much better.

On flip side going for coffee with a guy in the next town over. His demeanor online is a little flighty so I hope our conversations down fall flat tonight.

Awesome! Was hoping for that with the dude on Tuesday that rescheduled (to no date in particular, yeah, I hear and see the red flag, haha). Who knew? IRL dudes flakier than Grindr guys. Go figure.

Happy for ya! New plans with the guy? And totally jealous re: his career. I need to meet someone established in television since I'm trying to get in. More than prepared to sleep my way to the top, haha.

he thought he got banned in the past because he's confrontational about his SUUUPER-unique opinions on things, when in reality he got banned because he's an inarticulate, obnoxious douchebag.

Just a little. Apparently gay people are supposed to act a certain way that fits his worldview. He was incredibly obnoxious.

Yeah. He was also one of those people who is very young (I think he's 22 or so, which would make him like 18 or 19 when he was first active on GayGAF) but absolutely convinced that he was much more mature and worldly than he actually is.

I just started working as a waiter and there are quite a few good looking \ cute guys over there. I think I've heard one of them is gay though :P

This thing? Barely a tier above peach fuzz on most days. I've got more shots in my profile that show my larger demeanor.

But yeah, there seem to be a lot of chasers on 411. Was actually able to score a few dates and whatnot over the next week and I only got approved monday iirc.

To those posting about how much they disliked ZephyrFate... writing hateful things in a public place seems both inappropriate and immature. This thread and its previous incarnations have maintained a very positive atmosphere and I don't see how belittling another member, banned or not, contributes to the discussion or community.

Let's make this a love-only zone, yeah?

You could respond to the sentence I actually posted... (I never bashed him for being young; it was for being young and posting in the way he did.)

And somebody asked about why he got banned, so yeah, that's why we're going to talk about him. There was a pattern of abrasive behavior, not just in gay-related threads. There's a reason he got perma'd.
