Update: OUT NOW -> http://store.steampowered.com/app/105800/

Kyoto-based Q-Games revealed today that its PSN title PixelJunk Eden would be headed to Steam.

Priced at US$9.99, the Steam version will include the game's "Encore" DLC pack. Eden's full 17-song soundtrack, which includes unreleased tracks, will be available via DLC for $5.99.

For the Steam version, the game has been retuned. The Grimp, the little character you control, now can warp back to his last resting position in the Steam version. You can also save your progress in each garden in Eden.

Excellent news for those without a PS3. It's the best in the series. :D

I'm probably going to double dip.

Huh, interesting. Hope they do a demo, would like to try it out again.

I loved the music and style of it on PS3, but didn't enjoy the gameplay at the time.

Never got a chance to pick this up, I'll definitely check it out. Any chance of the Shooter games coming to Steam?

I hope everyone who hasn't played this yet checks it out. Such an incredible game.

Dag, I hope this means we'll get some PixelJunk games on iOS. Monsters in my pocket would be glorious (no, I do not carry a PSP around with me).

Maybe Nintendo and Xbox peeps will finally get some PixelJunk love as well?

Yikes! I might have to buy this again! Eden is one of my all time favorite games this gen.

But I don't know if it is going to be as good playing it with a mouse.

They're prolly testing the water. Eden is awesome, but not very technical. Porting the Shooter games would be harder: they mentioned on their podcast that the dynamic liquid engine was heavily utilizing the PS3's SPUs.

Will buy in the vain hope that Monsters makes it to PC as well.

The Facebook thing is absolutely the wrong direction as a sequel.

I got a PS3 before Eden came out and just never got around to buying it, but I did like the demo a lot. I suspect a Steam holiday sale (especially 75% off @ 2.49) will be the thing that finally gets me to pull the trigger.

Not really, they made a bunch of DSiware games.

As in, when they make a game, they make it with one platform in mind. :) So you rarely see their stuff appear elsewhere other than the platform they designed it for. It's why this announcement caught me by surprise, but now I'm so excited to see how this game looks at crazy resolutions.

My favourite of the PixelJunk games. Really should play Encore sometime... But yeah, definitely get this if you don't have it on PSN.

I love it too. The trophies get so hard that I might have burnt myself out on the game trying to get them. I bought Encore and then just never really played it.

I'm double dipping like a motherfucker. Soundtrack included.

I hope they bring the shooter and monsters franchises over as well.

Great game, great soundtrack and I wish that this move proves to be successful to Q Games. More people need to enjoy their games. I will double dip at a sale.

Yay! My favorite PixelJunk by far. I'm glad more people will get to enjoy it.

I gave up trying to get all the stuff once I got to that level with the changing gravity.

The visuals and music are great, so I might get it again and try to get everything this time.

Excellent news! This is my favorite PixelJunk game. Beautiful and relaxing, but with some real difficulty in there as well once you start progressing.

Kind of wish the soundtrack was included in the base price, I'd really like a reason to buy again. Probably won't be able to say no once Steam sale time arrives.

Same. Getting that 15x combo trophy almost crushed me.
I did the ping pong swinging grimp achievement all by myself.

Dylan please patch the PS3 version with these new features. The trophies drive me crazy and this should help a lot.
