i'm kinda sad we didn't get an update to the other big characters in the one piece world like we usually do after arcs. i really want to see if shanks has added any of the old whitebeard pirates to his crew. i'm kinda hoping marco joined his crew.

Wasn't most of that build up to what eventually became the Marineford War saga?

If I remember correctly the flashes to stuff like the shichis, ace, blackbeard and whitebeard all came after the cummulation of the Arabasta arc, in which Ace was introduced and Crocodile's defeat required a new Shichibukai.

Before this point we had vague hints about Ace & BB during Drum, but they were about as vague as the Aokiji/Akainu thing.


As things stand now we're quite literally at the start of a larger overbearing "Big Mum" arc, so most end-arc updates will most likely relate to Big Mum and her men. It probably won't be until later in this arc that we'll get insight into events surrounding other characters if it follows the same formula.

No, that´s not what he meant. Kubo will show bankai of captains like Shunsui and Unohana, and the rest of them that we have not see. He will show how Kenpachi became a captain. It does not mention anything about Kenpachi having a bankai.

The RG and the soul king will be in the arc, as well as Ryuuken and Isshin.

They just wont ever let Naruto forget that fateful encounter. Regardless, it was ultimately a pretty stunning chapter with a cool larger than life blast. Excellent. Kishimoto made it seem as if Sage of Six Paths was antagonistic or made an incorrect choice in life to go down the wrong path. Ultimately, having these tailed beasts in league with Naruto sets up an intriguing plot thusly ensuring that we wont see the culmination of all beasts into one for the eternal tsukiyomi moon plan that would have been great to see in action, unless someway somehow Tobi has some epic clandestine plan in action, that would require the assistance of all the Kage, Naruto's friends, Sasuke, and others to save Naruto from his grasp. Kishimoto keeps this hot and compelling and I cant wait for the formal entry of Sasuke and the perpetual epicness of Naruto as we delve deeper and to a fateful encounter.
