I would advise you to cut back. I don't know if you play like 100 hours a week but you could easily save money by cutting at least 2 of them games. I used to be like you, trust me. I love games but also love saving money and appreciating games more and not letting them sink forever into the backlog and eventually selling them.

I'm buying Amalur and Jak collection, although I doubt I have time to play Jak trilogy anytime soon. I just bought it because I'm a big fans, and hopefully it will lead to Jak revival.

The game cart definitely says "Not for Resale" on the back. I pulled it out and looked for myself when a best buy employee showed me a FEB.

I don't think GameStop cares though. I look forwards to picking up little deviants for a five spot after the mass trade ins at launch. It's got some fun mini games and it's native res and has AA and looks quite clean and impressive. Especially the sky diving mini game.
 
Gamestop will take the game even if's cart or disc only. Doesn't affect the trade in value.

Where in that GameFAQs thread does it talk about buying the system early?
 
I'm in NYC, and I'm jonsing for the system too.

But:

1. PSN Shop isn't up for Vita yet.
2. They're charging a $50 premium for the 3G launch bundle, meaning I'd be paying more for less (would need to buy my own case, will need to find a game, etc.).

had an interesting conversation with a gamestop manager.
Supposedly ALL INITIAL 3g units will include the 8GB stick, including the First Edition. Not sure if it is strapped on the box or what not. I switched my pre-order to first edition (AGAIN) just in case, if it doesn't pan out I'll switch back to regular 3g bundle

To confirm what we briefly discussed last night - I did call this morning and the one here didn't know anything yet nor did he have a rep there recently. I am still all in on the 1st edition (pending I can still pre order next Wednesday). I hope it's upped to 8GB as they are tossing in the PSN game voucher and data pass so it wouldn't make a lot of sense to toss the early edition folks out in the cold by not giving us the 8GB card.

Cool. The buttons on the original Dual Shock were better and more responsive than the mushy, pressure sensitive buttons on the DS2 and DS3.
 
I really hope they do up the mem card in the FEB to 8gigs. That sized would be fine for a long while for me, where with 4 I am worried that I might fill it up.

GameFAQs has a strict policy against discussing street breaking. They consider it piracy, and they will remove your thread.

I got modded many times for posting pictures of games (the box itself) that I got early.

Considering many stores already have their shipment of FEB's, I wouldn't count on it. The boxes were printed and packaged weeks ago.
 
I always looked at it like whatever size I get, it would be icing as I'm picking up a 32GB piece. The more I think, the more I want more storage. Who doesn't? I would be happy with 4 but would take the 8GB card any day. It could be a good backup card for saves or something. Or a great music card.

And a followup for g35, I did just call another Gamestop and they did say that is what they heard (regarding the 8GB card for the 1st edition). He said that he heard that they bumped all 1st editions up to 8GB. That makes g35 who's in SoCal and 1 GS in FL.

Sadly, Team Harimau isn't in Wipeout 2048. Only Feisar, AG-System, Qirex, Auricom, and Pir-Hana.

And I don't think we would see that team as DLC either since it wasn't in Wipeout until Pure, which takes place in 2197.

If this is the case, you're my hero. Still have both preordered on Amazon just in case, but hopefully he's right.
