The box arts with the "Memory Required" thing are no more than 10MB or so. Little Deviants has like a 1MB requirement, lol.
Disgaea 3 has a 96 MB save, Uncharted has 64MB. WipEOut only has and 8MB save

So is there any word on when in-store kiosks are going to be put in? Are they already out there?
OMG I'm gonna play one RIGHT NOW.
Already out.
OMG I'm gonna play one RIGHT NOW. Best buy or Gamestop?
Apparantely the western release of Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention was delayed beyond the fiscal year, so it could've originally been a lunch title just like it was in Japan.
The only thing this system is missing for me is a good online FPS in the launch window.
Yeah. One of the things that made me kind of excited about the Vita was the idea of Call of Duty. I've never played Modern Warfare online, I just, I don't know, it seems weak. The way it autolocks on your opponents. But that Seems absolutely perfect for a handheld/portable FPS. I was really excited to finally experience what everyone is so nuts over. Its a shame, would have been easy money.The only thing this system is missing for me is a good online FPS in the launch window.
I agree.
Unit 13 will fill the shooter void, though.

Does it have online MP?
Whoa at that spead!
I wonder what speed class that is. Has to be like at least Rapier
Has there been any Vita sightings at Canadian Best Buys? I might wander over to mine this weekend if there's a chance to see one in person.
It never was a launch title in the West.
It will be released on the 18th of April (in France).
There is a kiosk at Eaton Center in Toronto.
I was talking to someone and they said there was a Vita at the regina bestbuy but I was there last night and they don't have one plus It didn't seem like the guy knew what I was talking about anyway.Doesn't help me much living in Regina xD. Oh well I'm sure something will show up somewhere next week. I wanna see that screen!
I can't completely understand why they think Americans (or Canadians) won't buy titles like Disgaea,.. or whatever logic is behind not releasing them in the West.
There are certain titles I kind of understand not releasing in the West which are released in Japan which are of questionable nature, but outside of that, what gives?
That's because you're a sucker. Put up Lumines videos please, sucker. =)
I do think I read somewhere that there may be a Y's title for Vita in the works. Can't remember where I'd read that though.

Actually, just after my last post, I started thinking. fEB comes with a case and a 4 gig stick. Not too long after the release of the system, can we expect to see 3rd party cards? If so, FEB isn't a bad idea, even at 4 gigs, because I want to upgrade to a 32 gig 3rd party later (when it's actually affordable). Food for thought I guess...
Has anyone apart from Ubisoft confirmed the PSN availability of their titles on the 14th? Clearly all the Sony titles will be available then.No. The Podcast last night confirmed some would be up then, and the rest of the 21st.
It'll be awesome if developers make the commitment to not cut anything out of the vita versions of their games, right from the start. I'm anxious, for example, to see if MLB 12 feels like the console release in terms of game modes / online play. If they get into a habit of releasing full, console quality experiences on the vita, I'm gonna be spending a ton of money on it.
They should go for a modern warfare greatest hits.
Condense all of the MW storyline into one vita title and make the multi-player a collection of 16 best maps.

(even if I can't play it the next day, being Valentines Day and all).
I was on the line with Gamestop switching my preorder for Hot Shots over to VT so that I could order Hot Shots off of Amazon.com $10 cheaper, and inquired about trading in the 4GB memory card and Little Deviants... in the US, that is.
LD = $15 trade
4GB card = $5 trade
$20 trade in off of a $350 week early unit... wow, I really enjoy overpaying for convenience. Shiny object, .. must.. have... now. (even if I can't play it the next day, being Valentines Day and all).
release dates the 15th, Valentines day is the 14th so youll be able to play the day and the day after (the 16th)
Im on the fence like every one else the 3g launch bundle is seeming to be a better deal but my heart set on the 15th!
The only advantage the FEB has is you get it a week early. The cost though is you're paying more for the goods than it would cost if you got the 3G launch bundle. You're paying full price for Little Deviants at $30 and you're paying $30 for that case which is probably worth $20 at best. It's those two factors that has pushed me off the FEB and to wait a week. Also, no guarantee of third party memory so let's not pin our hopes on that.
There's a huge spread on MLB 12 in the current issue of Game Informer (Gamestop mag). It sounded interesting enough on the Vita, despite the fact that they cut out presentation. After a while I press the buttons to get to the next at bat on the PS3 version, so I don't see it being an issue for some people.
That's a little disappointing, considering presentation is what makes The Show...The Show.
I suppose it's to be expected from launch window titles though. I'm not saying vita versions need to be perfect console ports from day one, but it'll be encouraging to see them at least move in that direction fairly quickly.
From reading around on the Wipeoutzone forums, I think its:
C = Flash
B = Rapier
A = Phantom
A+ = Super Phantom
I could be wrong though.
EDIT: You know, why did they have to change it at all. I thought the speed system they already established was cool enough.

The 3g launch bundle is really the way to go, imo. Unless you're really excited for little deviants and were going to buy it anyway, I guess. It's weird, by introducing the 3g bundle sony basically made the first edition bundle and the wifi only system pretty much pointless, unless you're really impatient.
Wipeout 2048 is a prequel to the first wipeout, it takes place during the first season meaning speed names weren't defined yet and that's why the name are different.
Are people who were already thinking of picking up a large memory card (16gb or 32gb) still going to pick up the 3g launch bundle?
Moving from BluRay to 4gb is probably the biggest challenge for ports. That's probably the reason why it got cut.

Also, the "free" 250mb data session in the 3G launch bundle only kicks in after you've paid for the first session.
