That was quite epic. So glad Hidden actually proved to be something innovative and astounding. Eve was quite cool as was Gray. Gray showed that he is, in fact, one of the smartest Fairy Tail mages. Im conflicted with who I want to win, Gray, Eve, or Lyon, hopefully a tie for all three guilds. Gray's comments were hilarious and this is a nice lead in two epic battles.
Verily, I knew that not all people grumbled and grind their teeth over the Fairy Tail chapters. It makes me glad and encourages me greatly that someone else shares similar feelings on the series and on Mashima. Only Mashima can make non battle chapters truly as epic as battle ones for our fan favorite characters. Please continue to offer impressions, since possibly my favorite ever!
Oddly, Gray is having the same issue I had in that multiplayer experience. At first attacking everyone since they all looked the same then attacking ones that I thought were different but not. Ah it was such a difficult experience. Fairy Tail's version is just as intense, and great that we can see it played out with our fan favorites.

I lost count at how any times I said "Holy Shit" out loud. Yeah, it was completely over the top, but I don't care, enjoyed it greatly. I still wonder how the hell Sasuke is even remotely in Naruto's league now. Meh, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

I'm so glad I was away while it went on break. The wait would've been utterly torturous. Once again, Kubo shows why he's Shonen Jump's best artist, with amazing designs. Guy just needs to work on his panels. Holy crap, so many wasted panels. I won't get into a detailed discussion until later, but I'm happy I came back to something worthwhile.

Nah, Negima's managed to still be pretty successful despite having two horrible anime series adaptations. So much so that Akamatsu's allowed to take a break every month.
He's ending this on his own terms. I'm thinking he wants to try something with J-Comi, which he founded. You guys shouldn't keep your hopes up for a new series set after the timeskip...I'm just going to assume it's completly done.

Its fun if you don't go in expecting a deep story or anything groundbreaking.
Kurozakuro is a pretty decent and overlooked shounen battle series, but it had a rushed ending and the translators stopped at the end of 6 of 7 volumes.
Well I haven't read it and my friend hasn't read Deadman Wonderland but he said the manga isn't that much action based. It's more dialogues based.
If the anime is anything to go by, it is very psychological.

Fairy Tail is the greatest manga to ever be written, every single character is beloved by everyone, and every single panel will shock you.

Yeah i'd give Fairy Tail a shot. Its entertaining, fun but cookie cutter. It also contains loads of fanservice.

Awesome intro island into the NW. I love how Oda teases the silhouettes for upcoming characters, so seeing those swordsmen was a delight.
I'm guessing this isn't actually the Wano place they mentioned earlier?
Also, I'm looking forward to BM's tea party; they'll probably showcase the higher-ups of her crew.

I know I can't complain about the pacing- save for that flashback fiesta earlier, but I also tell myself that all this is necessary for the plot to progress. Though the Kyuubi took forever to turn, I still honestly feel that it didn't conclude right. It still felt like it "just resolved".
Really hoping that the Madara fight doesn't end up being an off-panel fight. All that hype build-up. :/

:lol... wow, I didn't see that coming at all. So the mystery team is a second Fairy Tail team, and Gerard's on it? Funny stuff. ... Did he know about Mystogan before? I'd forgotten, but I guess he heard at some point. Whatever the justification though, that's such a Fairy Tail plot point...
As for the most recent chapter, the game is interesting, yeah. A definite challenge there.

Ah, that makes sense then. That's better than it getting some stupid series of lame plot twists to keep it going, certainly (and mangas do that all the time), but it is a pretty short series, and before these last few chapters there were plenty of hooks to keep it going in those ways... oh well. Was it cancelled, or did the author want to end it here? Cancelled would be my first guess. If that's so, then though it's probably unfortunate at least there is the plus that the story didn't descend into stupidity in order to keep it going like it could have.
Signs point to it being canceled by the author himself (he thought he could take the mirror further but found out otherwise, plus the MC can't move anywhere on his own -> "why did I do this")
Nothing to contradict that it was canceled by Jump, though.
