Odom cares the least about ball right now, every game his mind is somewhere else, understandably I suppose.

Odom is post "Go fuck yourself San Diego" Ron Burgundy right now.

"Dallas was a baaad choice!"
"I immediately regret this decision!"

just gonna leave this here

Also, its Karl Malone saying this too.

Still, there are a lot of ways that things end up getting to the GM/AD/President/etc. It doesn't just have to be a guy texting the GM like "fuck this old bitch. tell him to hop off my nuts or i'm leaving in two years". There are tons of ways that scenario can go down and be blown out of proportion simultaneously.

Thats really true.

They could have a horrible game one night, trainers ask what went wrong, players say "we were just tired, been practicing a lot even on the road"

trainer goes to GM.

Road practices cancelled.

Dude ripped off his jersey once and he doesnt trsut banks with his money ... so yeah, he cares. Sucking doesnt mean you dont care.

My vote: Chris Kaman
That was when he was younger, and it was also an international game. Darko could be the most dominant center in the game but he doesn't apply himself. Thus, he sucks, but will randomly have 20-10 games where he does crazy ball handling and passes and other shit.

No, he sucks because he's not a very good basketball player. Even garbage players have will have nice games occasionally. Yes, Darko has had some nice games, but it's not an indicator that he's something more than what he shows regularly or isn't applying himself. It's just an outlier, an outburst that will never be replicated on a nightly basis because he isn't good.

Quick question about Blake Griffin. I don't stay up late enough to watch all those West coast games and he hasn't been too annoying when the Bulls have played them, but is this true?

I definitely have never seen so many .gifs of a single player's reaction to foul calls since Rasheed and Duncan.

It wouldn't be as bad if he was only trying to make his case that he never committed a foul in his life on defense, but the worst is when he throws himself without any balance at the rim and/or demonstrates his unrivaled flopping mechanics followed by him pulling off 360s in midair and looking like he's orchestrating 747 landings with his arms when he doesn't get calls on the offensive end.

....players say stuff like that alllll the time. Analysts too.

Usually about penetrating pgs though, I guess people start to dislike you when you're a dickbag, go figure.
Griffin may flop, but he isn't a dirty and dangerous "dickbag" player like Miller is, if that's what you're insinuating. It does sound pretty rich coming from a fan of a team with a rapist and a certifiable goon.

Me calling him a dickbag has nothing to do with it. Guys who get into the key with ease get hard fouled pretty much every game. Blake can get by his man and get his team and the crowd going with a highlight dunk.

Solution? Wrap him up, block his shit and/or send him on his wallet. You can be physical with putting the player in grave risk like Bynum did. Make them think twice before they decide to go to the hole. Its commonplace, not sure why you're making a big deal about it.

Things have gotten so bad I'm legitimately excited about some D-League scrub making his debut for the Magic tonight. He should be starting over Duhon.

Knicks are on the verge of figuring it out. Healthy Baron David could be huge. Just get healthy dude! Also need to improve bench with a few additions at the break. Come on Grunswald!

Well, I contend that not giving a fuck is part of his player profile, hence him sucking. I am not arguing that he is good, I'm arguing that his problems are mental.

This is probably a minority opinion that I hold, so whatever.

I don't know if I'm being too sensitive or whatnot, Roko, but I don't see a place for "stomping someone's face" or "laying someone out on their behind" in basketball nowadays. Sure, they most likely won't get hurt with a hard foul, but the one time that something bad happens to a player from this... what happens then?

The offender gets suspended or whatever, but the other person could be out for the season. Players can already get injured quite easily or whatnot (see Oden), so this can only be a bad thing.

TL;DR: Andre Miller is a genuinely unlikeable person.

What happens when Blake or Paul gets injured from flopping too hard? They could be out for the season.

I don't think you're used to yet, wait til the playoffs when Chuck and Kenny are saying that big man X needs to send a message to your star player.

Its a bit of an old school thing, but it gets said all the time, especially in the playoffs. "Make em think twice, put him on his back and make him hesitant" Miller is one of the last old school guys too. I'm not saying Miller is a great guy, I'm not too familiar with him, but I do know its probably said in more than a few playoff huddles.

It's pretty fucking disgusting how Earl Clark gets significant minutes every game but Justin Harper never plays.

Fuck you, Ron Jeremy.
