Is there something going on with the 16gb memory cards that I haven't heard about? Amazon doesn't have them for preorder, but has all other flavors.
This being said, there is one thing I'm still curious about. That would be charging the battery. Generally speaking, you're supposed to turn on your electronics, and drain the battery first to train the memory of the battery, then charge it to full. I've actually been guilty of not doing this, then charging the device without a full drain in order to avoid not having enough charge to last thoughout use of my electronics. I wonder if this will still happen with the Vita if I do not change my habbits.
With the iphone 4s, I'm told that charging whenever I feel like charging will have no negative effect on the battery life because, unlike an android based phone, the iphone 4s will kill the charging once the battery is full. As long as I drain to empty, and completely charge once every two months at minimum, my iphone 4s battery supposedly will be fine. I am fearful that this is not going to be the case with the Vita, and I must change my charging habbits to be sure to drain the batter, then charge to full just about every time. Does anyone know what charging habbits should be employed with the Vita? I ask this because I assume I'll be charging this thing all the time with such a short battery life.
What the fuuuuu?

Weird, if you just search for it, it doesn't come up. Thanks!
The sticks do not click and can not be used as buttons.
This is disappointing. The stick buttons are usually well implemented, sprinting in an FPS, for example. Wonder why they left that out, especially with only 2 shoulder buttons...
I live in Michigan and I've never been to Hell![]()
Where are my Army Corps of Hell brothers?
I bought this on the Japanese launch, it's great fun. I enjoyed it a lot more than the Golden Abyss.

Why are you getting a micro SD card?
Because that is what it really is, but probably called different by Sony.

No. Vita takes a one of a kind memory card. If you buy a Micro SD, you will be disappointed.
best use of that gif I may have ever seen :lol
People need to pickup Lumines!

I would but I sucked at the PSP version so I doubt I'll be any better with the new one

Drop Modnation and get Wipeout instead. You should know this.
Also, has anyone started seeing actual Sony commercials for the Vita? I know they have the Taco Bell thing going on but I've yet to see a Sony sponsored ad for the Vita.
time. it has changed.
If I remember correctly, Toys R' Us was the first retailer to offer a B2G1 free deal for 3DS games at around launch. Best Buy at 3DS launch had a $20 gift card bonus if you bought 2 3DS games. I'm sure we'll see something like that this time. Hopefully they both do the same for Vita.
It'd be the only way I'd buy Uncharted: GA for $50.
Toys R Us had Buy 1 get 1 50% off on 3DS games the week the 3DS launched. I don't doubt we'll see something similar to boost launch day sales from some store.
You know, I'm thinking money-wise it might actually be smartest to buy the Vita... and no games with a physical presence at all. Well, maybe Hot Shots Golf and Wipeout from Amazon (or anyone else selling for $30), but otherwise there's going to be at least a few good launch day PSN titles, so the system doesn't have to lay neglected at first.Toys R Us had Buy 1 get 1 50% off on 3DS games the week the 3DS launched. I've got a couple questions. I'm almost pretty sure of the answers but I just want confirmation.
1. Will every game that gets a physical release have a downloadable version?
2. Will everything currently on the PlayStation store, and any games that will be on the store in the future, work on the Vita? (Corpse Party and Grand History Knight are two I have in mind)

1) That's the plan, yes.
2) Well PS3 games won't work, and PS1 games won't work initially. PSP, PSP Mini, and Vita games should be fine.
1. yes
2. 90% sure yes
1. Yes, I think it is something Sony is requiring. (It is true up to this point, anyway)
2. Not everything, but only a rare few PSP games don't work (and support is still being added). Corpse Party and GKH are both up in Japan on the Vita store, so they should work in the US.
Thank you all for the answers. Love that they're taking digital distribution seriously.
mind you Sony has made day 1 digital mandatory for Vita games
