Can you get away with slaughtering the linesman if you leave the ref alone? Haha.

I feel shitty for saying the game was over. But at least I didn't turn the TV off or walk away from it like some Chelsea fans did.

Fergie admitting he should've played chicha from the start. Hope he sticks with de gea, he'll be one of this best in a couple of years. Though at the moment lindegard is 1st choice.

Sky cutting off avb, smh

Nice snipe from AVB, Fergie got pwned there.

Damn interview cut off, might have saved AVB there he was about to get himself into trouble.

Chelsea were lethargic and United were lucky. Draw is probably the right result.

Happy with the comeback, but Evra's defending cost us again. On the first and third goal specifically, his lapses lead indirectly to the goal-scoring chance that Chelsea converted (perhaps fortuitously) in both cases. You have to think SAF will introduce Fabio into the first team next season. This should be his last season as automatic first choice.

Young also looked poor. He was forever dallying on the ball and making poor decisions. He shouldn't be more than our third choice winger, and even then, Park and Welbeck seem to be paragons of intelligence in light of his last several performances. Allowances have to made since he's coming back from injury, I suppose. But if Chicharito had started instead of him (with Welbeck or Park slotting into the left wing), I think our first half would have been better.

Otherwise, it's incredible the difference a true playmaker like Scholes makes in the middle of the park. Giggs is a fine creative outlet, especially when he's played in a free role or as a tucked-in winger, but he's not quite made for central midfield. It'll be a relief to have Cleverley back soon. Carrick and Scholes could do with some reinforcement. I'd say Anderson, too, but he's an enigma these days. It does make the point, though: we definitely need another midfielder or two in the summer (given Scholes's age and Fletcher being a chance to never play again), even if Pogba's development is ideal.

And a gif of that De Gea save is needed.

I would like that, too.

Giggs is a weird one, he can be completely useless for 80 minutes, then supply a beautiful cross to set up a goal. He has those moments of magic.

if I have to watch a United comeback AND the Patriots win the Super Bowl in the same day I think ill just find a cliff to hop off of.

Well, at 3-0 down, I have to take and be happy with the 3-3. With that said we really should have won this match. Chelsea were weakened and on the day we definitely should have taken the points. Some seriously shit defending for their first and third goals gave us a mountain to climb.

Still, the comeback was great. Webb helped. Sure he did. I don't give a shit though. City got a nice healthy dose of help when Balotelli and Lescott survived reds, Webb was the ref that day too.

Rooney and Carrick were really good today. Great performances from them. Also good to see Rafael continuing to play well. Wonder how he'd do at LB. If Jones/Smalling are back soon i'd be tempted to put one of them at RB and move Rafael over, or then give Fabio a shot.

We have to win next weekend now. Said i'd take being 3 points behind after these two games, hopefully it's 2.

De Gea was great today. The save at the end was just incredible. I'm not saying he should play every game...but I don't think Lindegaard could make that save. That's DDG's world class potential shining through. He's got a long way to go yet though.

Great game, I freakin' love football. Good reminder which version of football is better before tonight.

If Howard Webb was as corrupt a cop as he is a referee, his garage is filled with hdtvs, ps3s, mountains of cocaine, and piles of cash.

Webb was very good today. Clinical with his penalties given.

What is he saying?

He's deleted it now, but people called him out on it.

Now he's just retweeting the replies from unhappy Villa fans.

Why are Chelsea fans blaming Malouda when they should be blaming Torres for their shortcomings?

If Torres scored 5 goals this season then you'd be in a better position.

I am blaming Malouda because he's shit plain and simple.

Torres for all his choking in front of the goal at least provides us with an assist now and again.

Insomnia is just pissed that he didn't get the move to Newcastle when we were interested. That's what you get for joining Villa.

When will people learn to never fucking ever count Man Utd out? It's almost like you started watching football this season or something.

Indeed. Somebody knows the Man Utd mentality.

Remember the time Newcastle beat Manchester United 3-0 without a comeback?

People thought the same thing was happening here.

Just finished watching the United game after having to watch the Ireland game (we were robbed by the ref :().

United were very lucky today against an average Chelsea side, Evra was badly exposed and if teams have any sense he's our weak link to exploit every game.

Classical winger. You rarely get super consistent players who play out wide. It was similar to the game at Arsenal. He was so wasteful in the first 20 minutes but then he just went through a 20 min spell where everything he did was perfect. That cross today was just awesome though, cannot believe he is still doing it.

Scholes making a huge difference to us today again. Just goes to show how stupid it was that we didn't replace him. A player in his mould would make our team SO much better.

AVB thinks the booing of Rio "is normal for the Premiership". Don't expect him to have a go at his own fans...but yeah, that was bullshit from Chelsea fans today.

True enough. Not many players in the Scholes mould about, though.

I'm embarassed to be only two points clear of such a laughable United side. But we're ahead, and our next 'big' game is Chelsea in 5 weeks time. I'll take it.

The standard of English football right now is pretty lacklustre... but fuck is it entertaining!

This.

It's also showcasing some teams punching above their weight; Newcastle, Sunderland, Norwich and Swansea more specifically.

Plus seeing the fall of some Premier League staples like Bolton and Blackburn.

A very entertaining season.

All the Chelsea people whinging about the penalty on Welbeck seem to have forgotten that they are only in the 4th round of the FA cup because Sturridge dived for a penalty against QPR. Just like Adam Johnson yesterday Welbeck's dive was a perfectly executed piece of cheating that any referee would have given when looking at it in real time.

What struck me more than ever was that Evra looks so dodgy. He's been mediocre for the last two years but now he's getting into Bosingwa territory. He's cost them so many goals recently.

I am disgusted. Disgusting. Curse you Webb. CURSE YOUUUUuUU!!!!

Mother of God.

Fady must be exploding.

I was exploding at Webb. Disgusting...

Chelsea. I am so disapoint.

I had visions of celebrating with Fady in style. They are now dashed.

Id rather have it end 1-1 rather than have false hopes at 3-0 only for the damn ref to mess it up badly.

I feel bad for Fady :(
Stay strong sweet prince!

I feel dreadful. Worst football feel of the season. Thanks for your kind words though...
