You've misinterpreted my point in both cases. In regards to Savic, someone was saying he'll never be good, and I was saying it's too early to tell. In the case of De Gea, Brinbe was saying De Gea hasn't been bad this season. But he has, and my post was inferring that regardless of what he becomes in the future, he has indeed been crap this season. I never commented on De Gea's future prospect, I was just correcting Brinbe.

Well, yes, yes you did:

De Gea could be good.

I don't understand this 'he could be but right now he's been rubbish this season'. A definitive rubbish this season? Rubbish all season? Or extrapolated incidents that ignore the good things he's done this season?

As you'll see, it's two very different situations. Here's your coat.

I genuinely bought a new coat today. It's multi-tone.

And when have I ever claimed the A-League was good quality? You make none of the sense. A-League is crap. Serie A is crap. You're the one pulling bullshit conclusion.

Oh please :lol a few times you've said it's on the up, the quality is there in cases, etc. etc. And your opinion on Serie A is based on what?

Robbie Fowler was talking the A-League up today on Goals On Sunday, he said it's a higher standard than people think. I think he was drunk.

You're trying to imply I'm a hypocrite because I apparently wrote off De Gea but gave Savic the benefit of the doubt. But... I never wrote De Gea off. I was correcting Brinbe who said he hadn't been poor this season. Stop reaching mate, you're not doing yourself any favors.

To clarify, my definition of 'rubbish' is more good than bad. I feel he's fucked up more than he's shined. My opinion.

In regards to the A-League...Yes, I have said it's on the up. It is. But I have never said it was great, like you claimed I had. What the fuck are you talking about? :lol

Let's calm it down a bit.

Good to see almost everyone on the same page about diving and simulation. I'm getting annoyed by Rooney harassing the ref so much. It's taking away pretty much the only thing I can still feel superior to Barcelona about.

This thread's turned sour

Agreed. Edinson will save us..

You will have a good Monday :(.

Were on good form right now, but Spurs are something else.

I'm quietly confident. As long as Spearing gets help closing down Modric and we double up on the boy wonder I think we can take them. I know we haven't had the best results against Spurs recently but we can beat anyone at Anfield under the lights. Hopefully the place is rocking and we get after them from the off - Three pronged attack of Carroll, Bellamy and Suarez will do me very nicely.

Think a few people are reading a bit too much into the insult. Calling somebody a bellend is hardly anything to get upset about, It's another way of telling people they are acting the fool.

No, you said he's been rubbish. Hmm. Brinbe said he hasn't been poor, wrong (at times). You said he's rubbish, wrong (at times). So both wrong.

And GOD the picture was actually more of a joke than anything, but whatever.

If we double up on the worlds greatest, we'll leave space elsewhere. Carroll has to play anyway, and Adam should not.

Yeah I don't think it's a forgone conclusion for Spurs either. It'll be interesting seeing how they handle being the overwhelming favourites against us for the first time in recent memory.

Whoever plays at right wing will be defensively sound. Bellamy, Kuyt or Suarez, all of them are willing to put more than their fair share in when it comes to tracking back. Hopefully Johnson can keep up his good form. I wish there was a way to fit Bellamy, Suarez, Gerrard, Carroll and Kuyt into a team. The latter two have had poor seasons, but it will be a shame if one of them has this upturn in form cut off before it really gets started.

I wouldn't have Adam in the side for tomorrow either as he lacks mobility and will no doubt clumsily foul Modric at every opportunity - Henderson has stamina for days and just like he did against City he can be the extra man closing down when needed. It's going to be a tough game but we are unbeaten at home and have the best defensive record in the league (I think).

Maybe on message boards but in terms of betting lines - Liverpool are the favorites.

Bellend's one of those where you can't tell online whether its facetious or not. Also, with the mix of nationalities on the forum, and the thread, I'm unused to it, as what's banter to one person is often an insult to another :)

Honestly, I expected better from you. That was a pissweak backdown post. Your opinion is that he hasn't been rubbish? Fine, but in no way does that change the fact I never write him off, as you claimed. I'll take the 'hmmm' as your apology.

Things are usually funnier when they're true. Your failmeme wasn't true. And if it was 'just a joke LOL' you shouldn't have tried to defend it under scrutiny. 'I'm joking' should have been your first response, not used as transparent way to gloss over your mistake.

Good work on the photoshop though.

Yeah, it's not an apology. It's you blowing things out of proportion and saying he's been rubbish. You also said maybe he'll be good one day. That's not writing him off, and I never said it was. It's saying he's not good now. Irrespective of our different opinions, you said that. I don't care whether you think he's good or not, but calling Brinbe a clown because he says he's not rubbish was just... clownish.

And fuck yes it was true. On three or four occasions now you've praised the A-League, said the quality of it was good on a given day. On the picture, it says the a-league was great today. So it's not a mistake, more an exaggerated inflation of some of the shit you come out with.

City do. Conceded 19. Liverpool on 21 GA at the moment.

Wilbury, no point arguing with Kermit...quit whilst you're ahead.

Yup. If he's out there, I think there's good chance he'll get sent off taking out Modric or Bale. Much rather see some combo of Spearing, Gerrard, and/or Henderson. Well, I'd much rather see Lucas, but...

Blame Jeff and his blanket ban on pretty ladies. Some people in here are in dire need of a wank tonight.

When I saw the quoted post and the name Jeff I was excited that I was the quality poster :(

Ok I will allow pretty ladies for tonight, but only ones that have appeared om Jeremy Kyle.

If Adam plays tomorrow then Liverpool will lose. Since Daglish is very keen on playing him then Spurs will be celebrating a win tomorrow night. Don't forget he was sent off earlier this season against them.

haha aronica is such a dick. turns out he was choking noce when ibra slapped him away. then aronia straight out slapped noce and only ibra got sent off. the movement, or a master class troll by aronica?

To celebrate Ronaldo's 27th birthday, here is his first ever professional goal of his career.
http://www.miragens.abola.pt/videosdetalhe.aspx?id=15817

I remember watching that game and seeing that goal and knowing that he was going to be great. Too bad he left us the next year :( Can't believe it's already been 10 years

Man, I still remember buying C.Ronaldo and Quaresma from Sporting in Winning Eleven 6 Master-League mode for my default team because of their high dribble skill and low cost.

Fun times!

Well Adam doesn't play when Gerrard plays...

Fair enough.
Still a pretty good record though.

In my mind I expect Spurs to win but Suarez is back and Liverpool look much better with him in the side. It should be a good game. Spurs only know how to play the one way and they'll be going for it. If Modric begins to dominate like he can do I think Spurs will walk away with the points so Liverpool's CM will need to be up to the task.

Liverpool are unbeaten at home in absolutely ages though. Have you guys even lost at home during Daglish's second coming? Always a tough place to get a result.

Well Spurs beat us least year at Anfield 2-0 in the battle for the Europa league. Think it was our last game at home as well because I remember not staying for the players customary lap around the pitch because I was pissed off :) - That and the woman I sat next to stunk of stale urine and I ended up with a bit of a headache.

We lost to Spurs and Aston Villa in our last 2 matches last season which were at Anfield.

Villa was away. Downing scored....

Yeah, won't reply if he does. I genuinely like Kermit but my god he's more stubborn than my nan.

Blame your lack of reading comprehension. You entered an argument all guns blazing but you were ultimately firing blanks. I've no need to be stubborn here. You were wrong. You made shit up. You misinterpreted other things.

I think you're a good bloke too, and I mean no ill-will, but you fucked up there. Let's move on.

And for the record, my dislike of Italian football stems more from the political, infrastructure and administrative side rather than the quality of actual play. At least the A-League has the first bit down pat. ; )

Are you sure he wasn't pushing him? :p

Very silly of Ibra.

They have, to us.

Our worst performances under Kenny have come against you imo. Last season when you won 2-0, we offered absolutely nothing in attack, and all over the pitch we looked like 11 players who'd just been put together for a chartity match or something. Then at WHL earlier this season, we were just horrendous and undisciplined throughout. Hoping for a change tomorrow.

I don't think I've ever seen you mention those three points in regards to your dislike of Siere A.
