Derp, derp. Yeah because ap forums are the only places where one discusses manga. I never joined ap forums. I am a member of other manga forums, and i had some very pathetic and hateful PM´s from op fans because i like Bleach. OP fans come to Bleach threads and troll. OP fans are among the most hated fans on that forum, because they troll Naruto subforum which is the largest by far, Bleach which is the second largest, Fairy Tail and other manga.

Those are most likely just normal manga fans who know what is shit and not. I have my doubts your definition of trolling is in any way legitimate, since any opinion you lambaste with insults is deemed to be "trolling." To you, someone says "Bleach fucking sucks" you call that trolling.

Criticizing the manga is one thing, but the way the do it shows hate for both manga and mangaka.

Being consistently dissatisfied with every chapter of Bleach and Naruto is completely legitimate way of showing "hatred" for both the manga and mangaka. I've never once seen genuine vendetta style hatred like you have towards One Piece in that thread whatsoever, and most the the time they're, you know, discussing the manga.

Only Naruto and Bleach sections.

There isn't any Naruto and Bleach sections on Arlong Park, there's a merged thread out of hundreds of threads discussing every manga that isn't Naruto and Bleach. I think it's safe to say that hating on Naruto and Bleach is not the majority of what Arlong Park's manga section is about, and this isn't even taking in account the massive amount of non-manga threads.

Lmao holy shit, yeah sorry, no but this just reaks of personal vendetta. There is nothing of a "cesspool" on Arlong Park. There's no shitty shipping threads, no shitty GOKU VS. ICHIGO threads, no LOLI-LOVING CLUB THREAD, no filler boards, none of the bullshit you see in every anime forum ever. It's just plain, simple, and rather nice manga fans. Arlong Park is both the home of the main core of the One Piece fanbase, and home of real manga fans who read manga because it's their passion. Arlong Park has the highest praises for the series I've seen, and some of the lowest; even more valid and harsh than any criticism you've ever given of One Piece.

I've been lurking the boards for years and I have absolutely no problem with anything on there, and the only reason you're ever butthurt is because they unanimously hate Naruto and Bleach. No, they don't hate on "other manga," they hate on Naruto and Bleach. This isn't just One Piece fans, these are legitimate manga fans who share this opinion. You only ever take issue with this even though there are decent reasons to why both manga are total crap. All which have been explained in detailed to you.

According to KOMO-TV, the ABC affiliate in Seattle, Washington, 10-year-old Codey Porter died at 3:35 p.m PST today. The war segments weren't really that satisfying in this chapter. They glanced over the actual war and the art took a nosedive every time they showed small parts of the war. The retreat strategy was alright cause it's about the only way they can avoid massive casualties on both sides. Then now I wonder if they will ever be forced into a brutal war seeing how they can't just force a retreat in every battle.

Female Knight vs South Arctic General fight was pretty cool. Not a full shounen battle but oh well. This manga doesn't need to be full of long length battles.

Yeah, it looks to be. Before the hiatus Inoue had said he planned to have it finished within a year, so now that it's starting up again unless there's another hiatus it should be done in a year, maybe two.

Caught up to this lately, and wanted to comment on it a bit. The first arc was shaping up to be a complete clone of the rich-girl arc in TWGOK, but the way they handled it - and how it shapes up later - is different, and superior, to what was presented earlier in Kaminomi. I think it's the honesty of it, really - the deception behind the 'game' is acknowledged, and the motivation for the protagonist's behavior shifts from selfishness to something a bit more altruistic. And in the end, there's progress for all the characters involved, instead of the constant shift back to the status quo ala TWGOK.

I think the comparisons between the two are going to be inevitable, so whatevs. I was surprised by how much I liked the manga; it's not going to be deep, but as I went in for some trashy fanservice harem manga, finding, instead, a somewhat heartfelt comedy (with like, almost no service) was a surprise.

e: also the main dude has Oscar fucking Wilde in his heart. Way better than some galge pro.

It's on the TV Tropes page for didn't do the research since the reporter just looked at a YouTube video to do the report and didn't figure out that a) Naruto isn't about sand ninjas and b) his name isn't Nerutu. It didn't help the internet having a field day over the poor kid that the reporters name was Akiko Fujita and she still pronounced everything wrong.
