Wrex is the best character in the Mass Effect series, full stop. He may get a little angsty about "I WANNA SAVE MY DYING RACE" but at least he does something about it. And he accepted Shepards "this isn't the way to save your race!" reasoning if you were high enough in paragon/renegade or did his five minute sidequest.

Yeah, well Tali died in my suicide mission because I didn't throw her under the bus with her people. So we're even.
 
Wrex and Garrus are the best characters in the ME series thus far, imo.

I really liked Liara too, until they turned her into a bit of an arsehole in ME2 (with the exception of the DLC).

I'm pretty indifferent on Tali. I don't really understand why she attracts so many creepers.

Jack and Ashley are by far the most offensive.

KotOR was at least some roleplaying. Since it used d20 rolls for combat and d20 system for stats. As opposed to Mass Effect and everything else that completely ripped that out and is PEW PEW PRESS A FOR AWESOME!

KotOR signals Bioware's downfall, yeah. But it's still a good game in comparison to Mass Effect (which is laughable story and terrible/tolerable gameplay) and Dragon Age (which is just terrible all around)

You could say the same with Beth and going from Daggerfall->Morrowind.

Jack's not that bad. She puts up a wall because Cerebus tested on her. It's understandable she doesn't want to let people get close to her because she enjoys killing and using her biotic powers.

Liara's character change is bad, yeah. But it's been two years since Shepard died, she can't be virginal forever like EatChildren stated.

Jacob is probably one of the worst characters in ME2 though: Really adds nothing to the crew and his dialogs.

I had completely forgotten Jacob existed, despite romancing him in ME2.

I quite like Kasumi too, her story was interesting. They didn't go as far as I would've liked them to with Sarama's story, though.
 
Like many men, Jacob only had one redeeming feature

I'm probably alone here but Miranda is my favourite character. Have a soft spot for Ashley too because of her funny rants. Don't really have any characters that I particularly dislike though. It's probably due to playing through the side misssion for each character. Hard times in the third game.
 
i'm kind of confused as to why the new character went from a fitty jason statham-esque character to what looks like the galaxy's first human-walrus hybrid

Well I disagree. Mass Effect story is not terrible nor is Dragon Age. Classic? Sure, but terrible I don't think so.

Jack's is the epithome of the emo kid. She's just annoying. She's just the extreme of Kaidan as far as I'm concerned. She's not the only one to have been tested on when it comes to biotics.

Liara was just bad in ME1 and redeemed herself in ME2 when she stopped being that oversexualized blue vagina. God that was annoying.

Jacob is pretty bland though, I'll give you that.

BG2 was good, but you can't really compared a pure old school RPG with an action RPG. Sure they're both RPGs but one of them is more strategic than the other one and I don't think they were intended to be exact copies of each other gameplay-wise.
 
even shepherd is kind of silly

like he is supposed to have SOME KIND OF HUGE LIFECHANGING EVENT EARLIER IN LIFE

but it only comes up like...once

Now now, that wrex character looks. Like a cool guy. Granted I haven't played ME but he's just a weighty little alien dude.

Truly Garrus is the best dude on the games

I love the violin in that song so much.

I've seen him live (In London) a couple of times. He rips off his clothes a lot. So weird being at what is basically a boyband concert but there are distorted guitars and people making the 'horns'. :P

Gotta love Acid Black Cherry and Nightmare too. So many dudes who look like ladies!

But how do you know if someone you like is gay? Do you just flirt with him and try to find out?

I ask because...what if you flirt with the wrong person and he gets mad or something...
