It's pretty obvious CENA/ROCK have no real beef. All this "shooting" Cena does isn't even a real attack. Rock doesn't come back for the pay checks or to promote his movies ( Fast five or any of rocks movies will do good or bad with or without WWE help). How many times did we hear " i want my son back but i don't know how?!?" and made a whooping 1 million opening weekend? lulz
When the rock attacks cena it's pretty much shit we already knew. He's a shitty wrestler, white boy gangsta. etc but since WWE has been so damn kiddish lately these attacks feel like real shoots.
Guys like CM Punk, Miz or Orton who talk shit for no reason is just bitterness. Cena/Rock is a match i want to see. Just seeing it on paper makes me mark out. I can give a shit how the boys in the back feel or smarks who feel Santino deserves to be in the main event.

I'd argue Barrett for one - he should be a main eventer right now, but ever since his "fued" with Cena, he's been wallowing around the mid card with no direction.

Kaval wasn't necessarily "buried," but he certainly left a lot earlier than he should have. Just look at D.Brine; the guy got shit on, but now he's one of the best heels on the roster, and not just because the roster is crap.

I love SCSA, but let's not pretend he didn't have input - remember, he was supposed to put over Lesnar, but refused (whether or not his reasons for refusing were legitimate is another story entirely) and ended up leaving the company due to it.

He doesn't have any of the kinds of charisma that a superstar needs. I only disagree with the "seriously?" comment with regards to Christian (not saying Cena or HHH buried him however) - I think they really dropped the ball with him. He could definitely be a legit main eventer, especially if they didn't feed him to Orton last year and let him have a decent title run.

When I started dating my wife it was around 2006. She thought it was silly of me to watch wrestling but she liked one guy. John Cena. And it wasn't because anyone told her she had to like him...she just did. He had the it factor. The Charisma. Don't hate him because you grew up and think the "Hulk Hogan" gimmick is stupid now.

You know how he became popular in the first place? His character and his ability to cut a promo. It was Heyman and the SD writing team who helped elevate him into superstar status. To say that he has zero ability to draw that particular audience is absurd. It isn't Cena. It is his current character. It is the state of the WWE. Not him.
