He already is, because there's no frickin' way they're gonna find a teenager with a figure like Orihime's in real life. Most adults aren't built like that without surgery. XD
Seriously though, if they're doing this the best hope of it not sucking IMO is to base it in the Bleach universe but with different characters as a focus. Make the main character an actual Shinigami and not a substitute where he/she feels like bootleg Ichigo, or make them a Quincy or something. Keep all of the lore with Hollows and Arrancar and all of that intact (and DON'T change any of it for movie audiences), and some of the characters you would see in a non-Ichigo focused Bleach story (notable figures in SS like CapCom, Aizen pre-backstab, maybe the captains, etc). Basically, like if Kubo himself decided to write a side-story or spinoff about a new character who gets involved in the whole Bleach storyline, as a movie.
But for the love of all that is sacred, do NOT make it the manga storyline. That would absolutely suck, I pretty much see no conceivable way for it not to.
All I'm going to say is that I disagree. Take it to another OT thread if you want. We were just trolling a Bleach movie, not talking silly Hollywood shit.
Tell survivor that Lucy Liu should play Sato in a film adaption of A Girl by the Sea. Probably won't be the same conversation but I doubt he'll ignore it.

This sounds like an excellent film. Except it would go straight to video. And be rated a bit differently then a Bleach movie. The title would also be changed to A Girl by the Sem...

They don't even need to change the bio of the manga. It works fine for the film.
The "without any emotions involved" is perfect, cause nobody will be able to actually act. And "unexpected complications" and "people surrounding them" is oh so ambiguously perfect.
This could be the greatest idea ever.

Hey, so I just finished the movie Ghost in the Shell...is the original manga worth it? If yes, is this the one to start with?
CotBP and DMC were my favourite PotC movies. AWE was just confusing while OST had terrible villain and was boring most of the times.

I really like how quick a volume goes by for this series. Well, maybe the fights went a little bit too fast given it's the last bout for the teams, which would usually have more emphasis put on the various aspects of a fight, but I liked them, mostly for those little tidbits about the past of some characters, but also because there wasn't wasted time. Plus there was no cliffhanger. All the fights presented were concluded, and the next fight will start in the next volume, so that was another plus for me.
