Have...Have they lowered some of the Newcastle players' OVR? I'm desperate to go in to a rant about EA Sports and their lack of knowledge on the sport they so desperately claim to be experts at, but then I'd spoil this lovely day for myself. :P
 
Why would they put Williamson as starting CB in Newcastle? Or are those custom formations? I mean, sure he's played lately, but it ruins match mode. Taylor also wasn't injured in the beginning of the season.

It makes sense to use formations and squads after the January transfers. It's the most up to date. I see what you're saying, but I don't mind personally.

Yeah, they just want to be as up to date as possible at release. Let's face it, if Taylor was in the virtual team, people would probably be moaning that he shouldn't be in the team because he's injured. What's his rating btw?

It's pretty annoying, especially when they have someone in the starting lineup just when he has started the last few matches because of injuries and there's other much better players on the bench.

I play a lot of career mode - you start career mode and Newcastle doesn't play their best players because he's injured six months into the future. I guess it auto-corrects after a couple of matches though..

The sad thing is that this isn't totally absurd either. Only 1 year left in the contract in summer and I said a few days ago that Dortmund is like the only place where Santana is valued as much as he should. It's no secret that Santana won't sit on the bench for another year and I don't think Watzke, Zorc or Klopp will refuse him to go or make it impossible by asking for 10m or something. We're gonna get 5m if we're lucky. Watch him leave Gladbach in one or two years for 10m+, though.

I know. No tactical defending is big letdown as it is my favorite new feature on FIFA 12 but I spend long hours at work without nothing do and having a portable FIFA (even if it is based on FIFA 11) is wonderful to me. It beats playing World Cup 2010 on the PSP.
 
I can't understand why you'd bother with a 100 point rating system if you're going to give the best player in the world a 90, what is the point of the top ten points? I guess you could make the argument that the highest ratings are reserved for the greatest players of all time but at least Messi should probably be a 95 or something.

On the other hand, it's not like PES does it much better; Messi is rated at 102.
 
So Gerrard want to be England Captain. Don't think there's any need to mess about. Give it to him. Definitely the right man for the job at the moment.

Hope he regains his form soon, not quite kicked into gear after his lay off but England will need him in the summer.

Even if Messi gets 100 on every attacking skill, he won´t get 100 on his defensive skills so it´s overall skill could never be 100.

Anyway, the rating system isn't on a curve, so the best player shouldn't necessarily be 100. I like that they don't have any 100 rated players. No one is perfect.
 
All the best arshavin. I remember when he first came to arsenal and that match against liverpool.

Another player played out of position and ruined by Mr knows it best.
 
I remember not liking the FIFA2012 demo much, but I'm thinking of getting it for a change of pace just because I feel so disappointed by PES2012. PES2011 after patches was really good and I was expecting PES2012 to improve upon it and be a brilliant game but it's just an unfun turd that reminds me of pes2008/09.
