Watch them throw it away. Manager that couldn't organise a cup of tea.

I'm sure people said the same thing about Arsenal this time last year. I expect Liverpool to win but in a cup final anything can happen.

It's possible but I don't see it happening.

Kenny is lucky because without the Carling Cup and their current position in the league they could have ended up not going to Europe next season.

Looking forward to the final. Hope its a good game, but would settle for a scrappy 1-0 win for Liverpool. Seeing Lucas off his crutches and travelling with the team made my day!

also: 25000 of these, A3 sized, are being handed out around Wembley, so hope to see a few before Kick Off today.

Just woke up, let's do this. I did just see the people I was going to get a lift with post their location on Facebook. Oh well, I'll get to watch the North London Derby and eat some bacon, so not going has its benefits, even if they are all superficial.

Might go and buy some Carling Chromes from the local shop, they're on offer, haven't tried them and it's lager to fit the occasion.

"According to Opta Sports, Theo Walcott has found a team-mate with just 14 of his 103 crosses from open play in the league this season. "

Wow, this guy gives Obertan a run for his money :lol

Shameful that Wenger passed on Bale for Walcott.

And with Arsenal's rivalry with Tottenham set to be renewed, Arsene Wenger has revealed he passed up the chance to sign Spurs ace Gareth Bale four years ago - instead opting to buy Theo Walcott.

The pair used to be room-mates at Southampton and despite having been shown around Arsenal's training ground, Bale - an Arsenal fan - was overlooked in favour of the pricier Walcott.

Wenger's reason? "We had full-backs at the time. We had (Gael) Clichy, we had (Ashley) Cole," he says in the Daily Mail.

Good luck to Mat C and Wednseday today, the game will be overlooked because of the events unfolding in London, but to the people of Sheffield it means everything.

The amount of players Wenger has passed on is annoying. Yaya, Ibra, Bale and Messi could have come to us :(

Instead, we are stuck with useless players.

Seriously, tons of players are being passed up every day. It's like Ferguson saying "I could've bought Hart for £100k". Well so could Leeds, Birmingham, Aston Villa and practically every PL and Championship club. Ibrahimovic also trialed for several clubs, as did Yaya. People are being handed trials to the left and right.

Saw Drogba's goal against Bolton.

Fuckin LOL at the Bolton player at the outside of the post.

You can tell he's from Arsenal.

Arsenal line-up:

Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Rosicky, Song, Arteta, Walcott, Benayoun, Van Persie.

Benayoun > Chamberlain/Gervinho?

Apparently Stan Kroenke has chickened out of attending as well.

yay, I might be in the stadium today. A friend of mine (who is also a referee for lower leagues) probably can't go, so he'll try to get a ticket for me (refs get free ticks).

Kagawa on FB:
Tonight is a game against against Hannover 96.
Fortunately, the injury was a minor one and I was able to resume my running practice on the 21st, and unite with the team practice soon after.
My physical condition is returning to the pre-injury status.

If I can make it to the game tonight, I'll be sure to score goals!

This match will be a special one me -- fans from Japan who have participated "The 1st Shinji Kagawa Official Support Tour" will be at the stadium. If I can join the game, I'll try my best to make the game a fruitful one! Plus, looking forward to a fan meeting after the game!

Thank you for your continuous support!

Shinji

Ganbatte, Kagawa-sama :D

Spurs XI Freidel; Walker, Kaboul, King, AsEkotto; Kranjcar, Parker, Modric, Bale; Adebayor, Saha.

Van Der Vaart, Defoe and Lennon all on the bench. Nice to see Kranjcar keeping his place, he's had an excellent run in the side.

Team and their bench is so much better than ours, we haven't got a chance

Poor Berbatov. Seems like the perfect man to play in the hole with Rooney out. No Pogba on the bench either. But Scholes and Carrick should do the job today.

Bench: Amos, Rafael, Smalling, Berbatov, Park, Young, Fabio

Not much in the way of attacking changes, with all respect to Berba.

Hello Tim.

I always forget about these early la liga kick offs.

Tuned in in time to hear the commentators talk about what an amazing game I've just missed.

Giggs making his 900th appearance for United today. Staying on for another season so he could be at about 950 come the end of next year. Would be amazing if he got to 1,000 but that looks like a bit much.

Nice to have an early game the night before uni starts again.

I have been accorded the highly questionable privilege of a cubicle, so I might actually be a student in a physical, as well as administrative, sense this semester. Instead of merely making periodical raids on the library.

Expecting Norwich to play lots of lofted stuff, a little bit of long stuff, and hope we cock up. Which isn't remotely derogatory: it's what I would do, and I wouldn't venture to bet much against it succeeding. They're good at it, too.

Norwich are tricky at home, I expect a nervy 2-1 win. Spurs & Arsenal to draw, Liverpool to score a late winner, Atletico and Barca draw, relatively narrow Madrid win, Napoli to put 3 past Inter, Stoke and Swansea to draw, Roma will draw 1-1 coming from behind, Bilbao 2-2.

Called it.

Let me say that the way things have went this season, we dont deserve anything as a team.

But my God i hope we smash these fuckers today. There is nothing more annoying these days than arrogant spurs supporters.

Amazing. Can't be many players who have done this at one club.

Pele the only one with over 1000? Maldini must be close too.

edit* Never mind, was including Peles Brazil appearances too! Guess Maldini holds the current record
