Well, sounds like we played shit but we have a TOUGH game at Spurs next. Good momentum for us, coming off that win and Spurs' coming off their battering.

Nani looked sharp today. We need Rooney back though, he's not a great finisher himself but he's much better than Welbeck and Hernandez right now.
 
Giggs you absolute legend. If Natasha doesn't suck it anymore I will.

Still though, worrying we rely on people who get pensions on top of weekly wages.
 
Can't really blame Harry for this one. He set his team up well for the counterattach, they got the early goals and had numerous other chances to reach an unassailable lead. Seems like the players thought it was going too easy and decided to take rest of the game off
 
Oh, and nice to see de Gea getting a good string of games in. The fact that our defense has been so shit has seen him being thrown into the deep end right from the start but it's great that he seems to have really grown into the role.
 
Overall it was still pretty poor performance. United looks too satisfied when just leading by one. It's just one goal, you can't do that.

MotM was De Gea. He kept United in the game.
 
de gea clearly got a big confidence boost from that save against chelsea, and i guess lindegaard being injured giving him a clear run. most encouraging thing was seeing him improve with dealing with crosses in the game, not perfect but he looked more in command than before.

great performance from him today, just wish we could have given the guy a clean sheet.
 
Arsenal were superb and showed us how to behave in a game like this. Spurs took their foot off the gas after 2-0 and we were punished. Arsenal were disciplined, and just kept going. We thought the game was won, got sloppy and by the time we realised we had been playing shit we were 5-2 down. Only Friedel, Walker and Modric played well. It was a mistake to put VDV on and not Lennon.

what a game, I still can't believe we came from 2 goals down and then scored 5 goals after that. The way we conceded the first goal made me lose hope already. Ironically, defense seemed solid during the second half. Still wary for the next game with Liverpool tbh...
 
I'm glad Arsenal won, even though I rooted for Spurs. Dat dive by Bale deserved retribution.

Also, I'm annoyed that MUtd has to rely on two 35+ players to win their games. Says it all about the quality of the league.
 
Superb performance overall especially in the second half. We hardly gave Spuds a chance, we blocked them off well, and was brilliant in attack.

Van Persie (my man!), Rosicky and Walcott were all very good.
 
massive massive result that takes us back into the 4th slot.

to be fair, spurs fucked it monumentally 2 up to 5-2 is difficult to swallow. a reverse of last season's result.
 
I can't believe Walcott got player of the game. He had nothing to do with the comeback (the first three goals) and just put the gloss on the result. *shrug* such is life.

i did agree at the time, but the point is that it turns out the ref did NOT make a mistake. his only mistake was stealing the game from us by overriding the center ref's decision to give us the goal.

i say congratulations to juve for stealing the game, hopefully if you win the scudetto you can feel happy with yourselves

Okay but you all thought the ref was blind over this, is it so hard to believe he was blind over the goal? Granted it was an awful decision but it fucks me off when Allegri or whoever else can complain when they're horizontal with the ball, has a crowd of players in the way and won't have seen it until half time probably, but can still moan at the officials
