Well to be specific, moe implies artstyle. It's definitely more valid to say "moe artstyle" rather than "moe anime." That character designs from the original anime that people said, "That's so moe." form the basis of the "anime style" we see today, which is why I call the anime style "moe style" instead, cause referring to anime as a whole seems kind of out of touch and incorrect.

This is the truth.
K-on! isn't a moe anime, it's a slice-of-life series genre-wise.
However the reason I call K-on! and others in "anime style" (big eyes, funky hair, small noses, etc. etc.) a "moe-style" is because the term moe itself has it's origins in primarily stuff that's "anime style" and is consistently associated with it. This isn't to say that Berserk or Fist of the North Star doesn't have characters people could consider moe, but largely moe is still associated with "anime style" even today and I feel like the term "anime style" is faulty cause at least 25% of all anime/manga doesn't use that style art-wise.

I tried giving this a read, but I despised every character, couldn't get past the first few chapters. I took a look at a later chapter to see if it got any better, but everything I disliked was still there.
I could definitely see how you could. It's about a bunch of assholes and dominatrices that are about only their own desires, but the art has been fantastic, and the scenarios have been consistently hilarious, imo.

Nah, it's all about that prison love! haha. They rode that joke to every conclusion possible, and it didn't get stale.
Yeah, the art is great, but considering the events that happen are the kind that occur in every stupid harem/romcom ever, the typical "all boys are perverts" scenario, I already get enough of that as it is, and while it's played way over the top here for a more comedic effect, I just don't find it funny.
That would help raise Negima from terrible to only bad!

The longest running manga I'm still reading is Hajime no Ippo, which is 5 months older than me, second longest is Berserk, which is 5 months younger... Huh.

I don't mind manga taking long to finish at least when chapters come out weekly\ monthly like Ippo for eg.
It when they start taking breaks or chapters take months to come out is when i stop reading .
