Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai 06

I'm not really sure why my images of this series is usually of Kobato.

It's the power of Hnng... azawa.

Does it have Omigawa screech? Probably not, she plays a genki character in Moretsu :(

You'll have to be more specific than that, because her talking at all is a screech to me.

You'll always have Smile's awful CG ED, that just debuted three weeks ago.

Yaaaaaaaaay~

Kyrie is actually pretty creative, but Alleluia's huge backpack is a nonsense mess. They're definitely going to be a pain to animate.

Digivice activate!
So, an episode about the wonders of cell phones and feeding liquid protein to a loli nun. But, apparently cell phones are magic. And, wow at that old guy just casually looking at an adult magazine on the bus. And, Rika discovered her lesbian side.

Btw, regarding Eureka Seven AO's plot. The second chapter of the manga spoils a detail that people were wondering about in the trailer:
Ao's hair is normal until he makes contact with Nirvash. After the fight when he comes out of Nirvash, his hair is blue from then on.

Magic hair dye is standard in LFOs.

There's also a flashback scene in chapter 2:
Eureka fell out of the sky 15 years ago and landed in Okinawa. She gave birth to Ao, and people started treating her like an alien. Then there was an incident where there was a massive explosion of Scub Coral growth on the island, and she disappeared after that. Ao is also shunned because of this, and apparently the appearance of Scub Coral on the island is what draws the "Secret" monster invaders to the island.
Wtf.

Man, those mecha... I think a standard rule of mecha design should be that it doesn't hurt your eyes to look at them. That should be, like, the baseline.

That was a really subdued beach episode lol. Misaki was totally moe. Also,
that guy dying was the equivalent of a red shirt getting killed in Star Trek.

I don't really disagree with that, but then that's my opinion on the majority of Gainax shows.
Yeah, I can't say I'm all that fond of a fairly large chunk of their stuff.
I still haven't seen Kare Kano or Nadia

Not as much of a "nonsense mess" as this!

Every time you post, you're making my day increasingly shitty. Post some good spoilers about AO next, even if they're completely fake :(

And here I thought there wouldn't be a show to replace Guilty Crown next season.

gunbuster and diebuster are good but pretty overrated
O.K., I've seen that word thrown around (as some kind of 'master keyword') the sufficient amount of times to start wondering seriously... how can something be overrated?

I'm not directing this question specifically to you, wonzo, I'll simply take your post as an opportunity to comment on this in general.

Here, I'll make it easy for you. When people like something I don't, it is overrated! :D

Too much kibble. The original series had everything more streamlined to match the surfing imagery. These things look like something out of the Gundam series.
There's also a flashback scene in chapter 2:
Eureka fell out of the sky 15 years ago and landed in Okinawa. So, more or less confirmed to involve
alternate universe and/or time travel?
He's saying he enjoyed the series but he doesn't get the adoration people in here seem to be giving the series.

Personally Gunbuster is one of the worst series I have ever watched in my life. I don't think it's overrated, I think it's garbage.

I heard Diebuster is pretty different though so I should check it out.

Feel know that I.

Are they making an effort to troll E7 fans or is the crushing of their hopes and dreams merely a by-product of some committee decided plot geared towards merchandising?

Either which way; lol.

It hurts me if people dislike the things I like

Can we please go back to the happy-family-wearebetterthanmanGAF thing?

My experience with it does not match the hype.

Ano Natsu 8 played so much on nostalgia and was such a change of pace from Okinawa episodes that it natural that things would begin to unravel. Interestingly enough, they
dropped the narration
for this episode as well, perhaps suggesting that things are coming to a head in that respect as well.

Of course, there's still enough Remon service for those people. I suppose anime romances are made the more interesting when a genre-savvy character starts making fun of those romances for the audience.

I know, and because of that I don't understand its use on this situation. If you have that opinion... then express it, without recurring to widespread impressions as your own personal scale for its mockery! I find that a mode of undervaluing other people's opinion, and I think that is the first step to lose the respect the rest have on your own one.

Again, this is not an attack towards anyone here who said that... I simply don't find it appropriate as a way for conveying an stance, that is all.
