2012 NBA Feb |OT2| Kobe Bryant is a MAN

They are cheaper. The 2.5's are 110 last I remember while brons are 170.

And even if Jordan went to adidas they wouldn't have Tinker to make them great. Since adidas didn't really care about the basketball division at that time.

A fair point but tinker wasn't tinker back then sir. Also, much respect

It was apparently unexpected too, so that probably makes it a lot worse. I can't imagine working in a foreign culture and then finding out your father died.

Meanwhile Odom is depressed because he needs more candy or something.

Something Something Mitch is a genius something.

Thanks for the chips, Lamar!

Man its crazy because Lamar was in such a good place coming off of the World championships and into the season after.Seemed to get even better after the marriage.

No doubt about it...this down-fall was absolutely due to moving away from Laker-land. Zero chance of Lamar being this terrible with Kobe and Peace having their way with him in the shower.

Sad thing is that Lakers won't ever use that TPE and have turned the bench into a barf fest in the process. Nobody won.

Stealing money is wrong.

So is applying your sensibilities to other peoples personal problems.

If my father is sick and I have the means to spend time with him, thats much more important than a sport. Sorry.

Well, I hopped off the Cavs bandwagon when LeBron did. Rooted for them a little in the Price/Daughterly era when they weren't playing the Knicks in the playoffs. Fuck Cleveland anyway. I live in Cincinnati so we got no local NBA. Cavs were a pretty convenient bandwagon, and I caught a couple of his HS games. Born in NYC and I was raised on Knicks love. Can't help it.

When I found out we got Mike Bibby I almost cried. I'm a Baron Davis apologist, so I couldn't be too mad at that, even though logic told me to be. But him and Bibby the same day basically was too much for me.

Hrmmmmm. a bandwagoner? I'd delete that....oops :-)

Nah, I'll be straight up. Yall know where the Knicks were when the Cavs drafted LeBron. I followed dude in high school (along with some great OJ Mayo games, good local talent here in Ohio actually) and ya know, Cincy not having a team. Wasn't hard to adopt the Cavs. Like I said earlier, I always gave them a casual root in the playoffs back in the day just on the strength of being from Ohio.

I'm sorry but am I supposed to know who this CommonSense guy is? Hes acting awfully chummy for a guy I don't recognize. Plus hes posting a lot so he can't be another driveby.

Don't tell me hes been secretly posting here for years like h3ro or some shit.

He made his glamorous entrance talking about how lobs don't win championships and how he misses the old school gritty NBA.

This is actually the most I've seen him post in the thread continuously. Neo-Cavs age.

Welcome bud! There are a few of us Knicks-agers that post here on the regular.

You'll be able to tell who we are when you see posts with morose attitudes towards the Knicks even when they're playing well.

Yeah, I still don't believe. I've never known about Mello. Seems like he just doesn't play hard (to keep it simple). Amare shocked the hell out of me. I was happy to see em making moves, but I wasn't in love with it. Turned out really well and I was feelin it. Mello came along and I went along with it, with some skepticism, and now there's Lin. I'm not sold on him at all. He's had some nice games. Do it against the Heat and we'll talk. Fuck, just do it for a season and we can chat. I hated to see Billups go. Sure he's old as fuck and hurt now (I think?), if anyone could keep this cast of characters together he'd have been on my short list. I like JR Smith and Bill Walker backing up Fields at the 2. I watched Walker in HS and dude can beast when he gets off his ass. JR gon be JR, but you'll get some good out of that as a back up. Maybe the Linsanity hasn't hit me but I still feel like we're at least a PG away from the conversation.

So did I, but honestly, I'm loving what Tyson has brought to this team. He reminds me of Oak in so many ways. He isn't a superstar but he's always yelling on D, quick to call guys over and discuss defensive assignments, etc.

Signing him didn't look like a great move until the emergence of Lin. When Amare and Melo were out, watching Lin and Tyson work the PnR was so fun to watch.

When talking of a player's quailities.. yelling shouldn't be the first thing on the list. Otherwise Boozer would be the greatest player in history

Did Billups leaving lead directly to Chandler getting signed? I'd almost go for that if that's the case.

Nah, I'm over Bron til he does something when it matters. I wasn't a fairweather Knicks fan either. It's not like they were competing with the Cavs in the playoffs. I was pulling hard for Bron to go to the Knicks. If it came between the Knicks and the Cavs even in LeBron's lil heyday I would have went Knicks 100%.

Tyson does more than yell AND ONE for a play fifty feet away though.

I meant more along the lines of calling picks and switches out.
