I'm kinda getting tired of the Deron defense squad.

Know what Paul did last year on a team he didn't want to be on full of mostly 7th men? Dragged them to the playoffs and took the lakers to 6 games.

Deron has whined and moped now for two seasons. First with the jazz and now with the nets. All because no one is making winning easier for him. So he's playing half assed because of some passive aggressive pussiness that's ingrained in him.

Because he is wasting the prime of his a career on a team that has NO chance to even push a top seed to 6 games.. not that it is right, but I can understand how that would depress you.. Paul whined as well and played to get that trade..

Once David west went down, not really.

Our second option was a guy who could barely shoot and a rotation of SG's that got hot maybe once a month.

And lets not pretend 2 things here

CP3 did NOT bust his ass all last season. He took stretches off, cruised on some, and chose the points in the season he wanted to play well and hard during (much like deron this season).

He also COULDN'T go hard all season due to his knees. And missed stretches because of them.

But, in the grand style of shaq, we'll re-write history, and just crown CP3's ass.

He whined before and then after the season. In between he manned up and dragged his team to the playoffs.

I don't hate either of the guys but something about the way deron has handled the jazz and now the nets has rubbed me the wrong way. He's not going out and whining for a trade ala Melo, but he's being a baby and just refusing to really give a shit.... You're one out of millions able to make millions of dollars a year playing a fucking sport! Have some perspective.

He didn't take the assertiveness on offense that he had in the past.

1) his knee, you're right.

2.) Monty asked different things of him at times

3.) he stated in not so exact words very early in the season that more than ever he was going to focus on getting other peoples offense going because the only chance they had of getting anywhere was having other threats around them.

4.) He also said many times that his philosophy was that the regular season doesn't matter other than getting to the playoffs.
