I like the way he looks at me when he asks me to go deeper

He tweeted me the other day, my old media teacher used to go out with him at uni so I asked if they fucked many times and he replied they were good friends

What a classy guy to not say "Yea we fucked, everywhere", or something of the like. I haven't listened to his new album much, but Won't Go Quietly is great. I don't know if there is a song on there I don't like.

I'll definitely be checking out Maverick Sabre and Ed Sheeran later today when I get the chance though.

I'm so unclassy to ask hahaha

I had to know! She has a little moustache, I wanted to know if it tickled. Yeah he's good, I like him. Best British rapper is Giggs, mans a beast.

On Italian strikers, I'd take Matri over Balotelli atm

Surprised how many tickets there are left for the derby - loads this morning when I got mine and there's still some left now!

Oh my god, I fucking hate our ticket office at times. When the hell was this announced? You'd think the fact I pay £30 to be a 'member' they'd send an email once in a while.

I think Balotelli is the best Italian national team striker this season at club level, going by goals-to-games.

EDIT: Just saw Di Natale's stats. That guy, seriously. And at 34 years old? Fucking hell. Definitely the best Italian striker around atm.

Mancini: Mario is the best Italian striker for sure, 100%.

Do we agree?

No. He's laying it on thick because Mario got cut.

Edit: I see your edit. It's good that Mancini realises, but I don't see Mario getting less impetuous any time soon.

Rumour is MUtd wants to swap Pogba with Krasic(if Pogba indeed insists on leaving).

Swap bench player for an older bench player. Sounds legit.

This is, on paper, a hilarious weekend.

Nobody get banned.

Edit: well, better to get a player in return if Pog is going. I know nothing of Krasic, tho. If he's nothing flash, then we could probably do without the wage bill.

Rogby over football? for shame.

I played rugby before I played football. I also live a short walk away from the RDS and Lansdowne Road. My brother is the oddity as he likes football more then rugby.

It would be a surprise if I wasn't a rugby fan. Still love football though.

Happy Birthday Viva! Hope it's a good one.

Giggs is such a legend, and a huge part of my life growing up... It'll be sad to see him go one day.

Giggs and Scholes will always be heroes. Keane was incredible but has acted like the biggest motherfucker since Oedipus since he left, and Beckham left too early to be legend of all legends.

It would be interesting to see how either gets on with coaching. By all accounts Ole's doing brilliantly.

What about Cantona? Or is he part of a different era?

Also, what are your thoughts on the suggestion that Giggs could take over for SAF one day?

Keep dreaming boys.

Haha I know it won't happen
more likely than Cavani to Liverpool

I was just thinking about the fabled midfield. I'd say Cantona is more iconic; no doubt he'll go down in club history but there's no comparison with Bobby Charlton, Bryan Robson, and Giggs and Scholes.

I wouldn't let him take over for SAF because he probably won't have retired then. I'd say he'll stay on as player/coach for the next manager for a year and then see where it goes from there. If he has the credentials I couldn't think of anyone I'd want more.

It's really unfortunate Rangers could let as many as eleven players go. Is the free transfer window still open in most leagues or would these players be without clubs until the summer?

I'm not sure. Wikipedia:

If a player gets released from their club when the transfer window is closed, they cannot sign for another team until the window reopens. A notable case of this being Sol Campbell who in September 2009 was released from Notts County, just after a month from signing on a free transfer. He signed for his former club Arsenal in January 2010, after spending a few months training with the team to maintain his fitness.

AVB was asked whether Mourinhos shadow was lurking over him at Chelsea. His reply, "The only place Jose's shadow isn't lurking is in Barcelona".

Oooh.

Is Pogba as good as many would say? He is still young and could reach his peak early as walcott...

Oh, happpy D-day Viva.... I mean B-Day.

He's right though Mourinho could probably walk in any other team in the world.

He'd do well to displace Ferguson.

Anyhow, AVB might be right that Jose is a great great manager but that seems a very cheap way to put it considering he is doing quite poorly himself, which I found funny. I like AVB though, hope it works out for him.

Farid - Pogba is very talented. Currently he has a long way to go but he could be a really great player.
