Has anyone taken any pics of Nintendo's area at GDC and posted them online?

The 'expo' isn't open yet, iirc. Not until Wednesday, right?

Actually, they're different from the 3DS pads, but most people don't care and will shit on them despite being functionally the same regardless.

Ace! I didn't shit on them, Ace! Ace! Can I have a gold star? Tell me all the Wii U secrets? I promise I won't tell anyone.

Maybe our photoshop crew could mock up what their exhibit will look like? =)

So basically nothing to worry about with regard to the joysticks?

Honestly, no.
The 3DS ones work just fine, and the Wii U's have a better grip and a wider area of movement, in addition to the unit being easier to hold.

Or wait for another 36 hours? ;)

PM me and I'll reveal all.

Is that some kind of sexual favour?

Not as far as reports go, but (obviously) no one has experimented with them for an extended period of time so it's hard to say for certain (and some people won't like them because they are different) but the outlook is positive.

Ah okay. I have no problems with the slide pad myself, but I can see that as a potential complaint that will get old fast.

This might be the crystal ball for Nintendo's online communication on Wii U. High quality skype-like windows streaming the faces and voices of your friends to the subscreen during online multiplayer.

It takes some the unique personal experience of local multiplayer and pushes it onto the NiN.

We saw video chatting on the controller at E3, and doing it in game (or even better, being able to switch to streaming what is on screen to a friend) is certainly something Nintendo would do.

As much as I like the concept of video chatting while gaming, I really don't want to see random people's faces, especially when they rage and stuff.
