Naruto
I really don't understand why people are hating on this chapter. After a string of downright
awful chapters, an action packed chapter that moved the damn plot along was welcomed. Tsunade's scuffle vs Madara was
good. I'm not a Tsunade fanboy but i've been wanting her to do SOMETHING against him for a while, so it was nice seeing V2 of her life reborn jutsu. We still don't know what it does, so i'm eager to see Kishi explain it in the next chapter. Kishi also justifies sidelining her by making a good point; medics don't fight, and I think this was hard for many of us to accept. We also got a much needed confirmation that
Tsunade is in fact stronger than the Raikage, so much so that she can actually punch through Susanoo (whereas a Onoki boosted Raikage couldn't) A special nod goes out to Mei and her 2 jutsu's she showcased. <3 big ass water dragon. I'll admit that the Dan scenes were expositiony unneeded.
The second half of the chapter was pretty good. Itachi finally reached Kabuto, but Kabuto reiterates that killing him will not be enough to stop Edo tensei. Naturally Itachi can blitz via Tsukoyomi right...? A challenger appears in the form of Sasuke, a wild card that can (and will) change things. I'm eagerly looking forward to the next chapter.
One Piece
Oh yeaaaaaaaaaaah. So many things happened in this chapter, I can't believe Oda is juggling 3 character groups in this arc simultaneously. Luffy's group made me smile the most. Robin thinking of riding on top of Usopp made me laugh out loud. I'd let her ride on me any day of the week ♪ Nami's group was short and sweet, it would have annoyed me if they hogged most of the chapter (because frankly, their sub story isn't as interesting). It appears that one of the bosses in this arc is a gas based Logia user... very interesting. Smoker closing in on the Shichibukai... Law?!? HELL. FUCKING. YES. Oda called him a sadistic monster for a reason, he had too. The next few chapters should be a great treat.
Bleach
Meh. 6 pages were wasted on Yamanoto(sp?) talking to the "enemy" which could have been done in 1-3 panels. Oh well. Aside from, the chapter wasn't
bad. The ominous message "they can... bankai." Steal? Dissipate? Its honestly interesting, and I hope kubo utilizes it properly. It seems that Ichigo has an immunity to that for some reason... about fucking time his bankai did SOMETHING right. Sick of it being trolled, and its part of the main reason why I've disliked Bleach for a while. Hopefully in this arc, it kicks ass. The main villain looks interesting, but Aizen 4 pissed me off, Kubo needs to improve his villain designs, honestly.
Guys, Law could have used his fruit and cut out the 100 hearts, keeping the pirates alive. The government would see the hearts, throw them out (who wants 100 random hearts around?), and Law gets them back to his "victims". Problem solved.
Law... no let anyone ANYONE with that power would never end up wasting that much time. Face it man, Law's a sick bastard who is willing to do anything to get ahead in the new world. He has a reputation for being a cruel pirate, Oda isn't a hack writer he
remembers these things. You know, like most pirates ♪
That theory where Law is holding Luffy's heart is starting to sound more likely though.
