Completely fair for both teams imo

Simmons mentions Nash + gortat for Bynum.

I would do that.

Nash
Kobe
MWP/Barnes
Pau
Gortat.

That's a contender. DO IT MITCH.

Really, you'd do that?

i'd also personally do the following trades

Gortat for dwight & jj redick.
Josh Childress for wade
Hakim Warrick for Durant & Harden
Telfair for Deron Williams
Frye for Rubio & Love

Starting line up of

Deron, Wade, Durant, Love, Dwight

Bench
Nash, Dudley, Hill, Morris, Lopez.

You'd also have jj redick and harden in case of injuries.

If we could also somehow get Amare back, on the suns with the suns trainers, i'd proably do it. But onyl for like, aaron brooks or some shit.

Phoenix owes it to Nash to send him to a contender. He won't ask for a trade, it's on them to do the classy thing.

Fake Edit: Uh oh. Lesser franchise fans are crying again.

You're right, he should go to a contender, that's why i'm saying its not fair to send him to the lakers.

As good as Steve Nash is the fall off is coming. And while I like Gortat he certainly gets a lot of help from Nash. Bynum at least gives them a good center who is still quite young that they can draft around.

Eh, People have been saying that about Nash for 5 years. His game is skill based, not athleticism. He could play until he's 45 at this rate.

And bynum isn't a piece to build around.

low character thuggy piece of shit with no knee's and fragile as hell.

Those aren't descriptors of someone you build around.

rofl. that team MIGHT be a contender. bench is a glaring weakness, should probably trade Lopez for Tyson Chandler for a quality backup C

because Nash + Gortat with Kobe and Pau is clearly a contender.

I could say the same thing if Portland traded Felton, GW, Crawford, first round pick, and Camby for Nash and Gortat.

Nash, Mathews, Batum, Aldridge, Gortat

Let's get it done.

I did terrible last week.

New Jersey @ Charlotte
Utah @ Philly
Portland @ Boston
Atlanta @ Detroit
Cleveland @ OKC
LA Lakers @ Minnesota
NYK @ Milwaukee
LA Clippers @ San Antonio
New Orleans @ Denver
Dallas @ Sacramento

btw, it's hilarious to see people react to my post on this trade when it's clearly mocking simmons.

It's no fun if you have to spell it out for them. Besides, how can you argue against this:

He could play until he's 45 at this rate.

Of course he can!

Not to mention dat Gortat potential. It's really a no brainer for the Suns to continue to play .500 ball for the next season and a half instead of moving on to a 7" All-Star who's 24(?) years old.

The audacity. Stern must VETO!

Giri I'm Canadian. I get it man he's one of the greatest pg's ever, hof material totally. But there will be a day when he stops. Hell, he'll probably stop earlier just so he can be more of a father to his kids. Bynum isn't going to love the suns like he did, but he'll play and he'll be a good piece to build around, he's been doing heavy minutes this season he'll hold up.

If the suns really love 'em. They'll set him free.

reilo : dick :: brandon roy : knees :: kwa-may BROWN : hands :: the portland trailblazers : legacy :: greg oden : shame : things I give : fucks

Reading your posts is like watching David Robinson trying to go up against Hakeem.

Simmons just literally put Melo ahead of Deron in trade value.

bwahahaha

Also Pau too, because no Laker fan would be down for that trade.

With Bynum, at the very least I could say they're getting a young dominant big man who's an All-Star (in a league where such a thing is become more rare by the season).

With your package, what exactly are they getting?

A chucker in Crawford
A downgrade at pg with Felton
A skinny fossil in Camby
An aging, injury-prone Wallace
And lastly, a draft pick... which could land them who-the-fuck-knows-what.

The best part were his 8 paragraphs defending Melo's play.

Now imagine if Kobe was playing like Carmelo...

Like $30mil in expiring contracts. You're dealing with Robert Sarver after all.
