I hope Peyton ends up in Denver. If only to stab a big Manning forehead sized spear into the heart of Tebowmania and spare me another season of listening to this chick I work with tell me that "he's a winner! It doesn't matter if he can't throw or play the QB position worth a shit!".
 
This trade reminds me of that Redskins swinging gate. Two firsts to move up four spots.

God I hope Tannehill is the next great QB.

RGIII's mentality and maturity makes this decision a lot easier to absorb. This isn't a guy that you wonder if he is putting in the needed study time.
 
If I'm reading it correctly, doesn't the Sanchez deal basically save them money over the next two years, free up cap space, and then they can cut him? It wouldn't appear to be as bad as it looks.

And what's with the "wait until the investigation is complete" stuff - Williams already admitted the program was in place, so what exactly does Drew want the fans to wait for except for the severity of the punishment?

Haha, I don't care if RG3 is the greatest ever, Redskins got robbed. Poor RG3 going to such a shit organization. Also, the Sanchez extension. Wow. This guy is maybe as good as Dan Orlovsky and I don't see the Crazy Irsay giving Dan a big extension. There has to be some crazy shit on that contract. It's unbelievable that an organization could be that stupid.

I now fully expect the Browns to trade down from 4 and stockpile another pick or two unless they are sold on Claiborne (as I think the Bucs will pick him up). Perhaps they will trade down from 4 to 6 with the Rams and pick up the Rams second rd pick.

Crazy stakes in the Rams-Redskins trade though. If RG3 pans out for them, the. Of course the trade will be worth it in the long run. Obviously the bigger risk is if it doesn't.

They probably converted this years salary into a bonus and spread it over the remaining life of the contract to decrease the salary cap hit. Only read the details Future posted. Not sure what 27m guaranteed means over two years, may be out somewhere in there.

Edit: Claiborne and Haden on the same team, handcuff city.

The Skins had 11 or 12 picks in last years draft. All but one touched the field. The one player (arguably the best player according to coaches) was injured. They injected a lot of youth into the team over the past few years. Good talent too.
