St&rs 1-22

This is a series where the focus pretty much has to change at some point. Could really go in any direction depending on the alien's plan. It's definitely interesting, but I hope it isn't cryptic stuff for another 100 chapters (provided it makes it that far).

I sometimes wonder if the author planned to make the series a battle manga at one point. I just never saw the mystery to last more than 50 chapters.

Cosmic, you can only save translations. It doesn't work for the manga itself.

I wouldn't be surprised if this became some intergalactic battle series with the 3 children with abilities refining their powers or something. Consensus seems to be it won't get that far though if that is indeed the plan.

:/

If we're going to change the thread title anyways I propose starting some sort of beef with the anime thread.

For the laughs.
Tell them that the Gintama manga is better then the anime. Also say that Shaft sucks and Jump rules.

PS: Does anybody read Hajimete no Aku? Scy? I swear to fuck I will find a compatriot one day.

It's gotten kind of stale lately. Even with the whole change to battle manga, I just wish they focused more on the hero of justice/evil syndicate aspect, and rolled from there, instead of rom-com.

I've started it at one point but never went back to it. I don't really remember much, though. I'll get on that though.

We'll force all the two-timers to pick sides

:|

Not that I post in the Anime topic much anymore; haven't had the time to watch anything :(

Oh man everyone started posting really fast. This thread's really at the end now. It started in... October huh.

That includes HxH lasting past 330, me and Wise reading TLR, and like two or three different bandwagons. Good times.

There was the Magi bandwagon which is probably the biggest one.

Also lots of people picked up A Girl by the Sea. So this thread accomplished its job.

Wow, a lot happened for ManGAF over the past few months. I guess the whole "we only post on Wednesdays" joke is less true now than it's ever been (even if there still are a ton of people who only drop by to comment on the big three).

listening to baker street while reading tough pushing for the inevitable demise of this thread.

this is a lame saturday.

I flashbacked to Star Ocean 2 and Bowman spamming it every 1.3 seconds.
LOL so good. Shit is OP.
If we really want to strike at the heart of the anime thread then we aim our malice at Utena.

May the roses forgive me.

You don't want to end up like enzo_gt.

I propose this title for the new thread : Manga Discussion/News Thread |OT5| To-Love Ru sure is interesting.

Bartender 1 - 31

Fuck Med School, I wanna be a bartender !
I already served drinks at bars, but it's not even close to what the manga depicts. In fact, it's more like "What beer do you want ? Huh-uh. There you go", ha ha

Lets just say I got real thirsty reading that manga and perhaps made myself a few drinks to go along with it.

I want to know how much stock those bars he was working in had. He was pulling out all kinds of stuff from what looked like a tiny bar.

Yeah, and I was really pleased to see a lot of French alcohols, especially Pastis and Chartreuse (which I adore). But while we're talking about costs, even if Chartreuse isn't a widely spread and known alcohol, and just a little amount of it suffices to make lots of cocktails (or to drink it pure), one bottle of 75cl is about 26€ (about $35) when you buy it directly where it's produced...it's more expensive than a lot of quite good Champagne bottles.
