As much as I expected to be let down, I suppose this wasn't as bad as it could have been. At least it's certainly nowhere near Mx0 or Double Arts levels of disappointing endings...![]()

Shingeki vol. 1
Some pretty rough art but holy fuck, this manga is moving fast and shit's getting killed left and right.
You know, considering the past difficulties he's had with editors, he might have ended it intentionally just to avoid being strung along in a direction he didn't want to go.
I guess those would be external factors so it still wouldn't be a completely "voluntary" ending... doesn't make it any less bullshit though.I think he had beef with Kodansha, considering he dropped his contract with them abruptly last month and asked for the original copies to all of his work back from them.
That would explain the rush to the ending, and the off-screen Lifemaker fight (which I wanted to see, dammit).
Just so you don't be disappointed, I believe volume 3 or maybe 4 has almost no action. They take time to develop their cast of characters.
a new thread... Praise Aizen.
Im still predicting he will be freed this arc by Grimmjow.
Reading: (In order of preference)
Osu!! Karatebu
Bleach
Berserk
Hunter X Hunter (though that last chapter seemed like a series end.)
Battle Angel Alita Last Order
Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru
Hajime No Ippo

I split my list in to genre lists because I couldn't find anything in the default one.
Reading: 340
Completed: 502
I also started Blue Exorcist and it's really good. It was similar to D.Gray Man at first but it quickly got over any similarities besides the whole exorcist theme. I'm up to ch28 so I'm nearly caught up. Also Koeneko sucks and I hate him, easily the worst character in the series.
Needs to be added to the ManGAF cycle:

Ok does Mashiro's mom not know about this whole love bullshit so far? Cause Mashiro is either closing the TV cause he is too embarrassed or he still hasn't told her which is fucking stupid.
So then Mashiro goes to the supermarket and 2 kids ask him for an autograph. Are they really that lame? Some nerd wants an innocent love and embarrasses himself on the radio and they fucking look up to him? Why? Seriously. They don't even look like nerds so I can't write them off as losers. But whatever, maybe they are just lame kids.
Oh and also the TV stations picked on it and they all seem cool with it? Has everyone in the goddamn country lost their mind? I think this is gold material for SNL/Leno/Conan. Someone for the love of god just make fun of them and mock them publicly.
Also lol, there is a magazine dedicated to voice actresses. Such a serious business
I seriously don't understand how they have an editor answering meaningless pointless calls from idiots. Just have an answering machine that says "Hey buddy, they are in a relationship. Got a problem with that? Then go suck it and cry on 2ch"

Magi has egyptian musclesUsually, but Hajime No Ippo and Magi are also guilty of this.
I was more wondering has he never told her about Miho before? He is pretty successful dude and I don't see why he needs to hide it from his mom. I can't remember what happened in the beginning. I think she was only opposed to his job, can't remember if his love life was ever mentioned to her.She knows. She says outright that nobody would be opposed to him marrying Miho. She actually seems kinda proud of him, which is a nice contrast compared to earlier in the series.
It's just weird seeing an editor handling that especially since I'm guessing it's not a call from the press. I would just have some part timer handle the crazy fans, no need to stress out the editors. They're probably required to answer all calls. :\

That's pretty tame too considering the other examples.HAHAHAHA wow

Didn't One Outs also try to solve the BLACK MUSCLES conundrum at one point? Or am I thinking of another baseball series?
That is such an amazing name for a team. Really I would love to see the Bugaboos in the World Series. There was the Bugaboo's game that was basically just "BLACK GUY CAN RUN."

The April issue of Shogakukan's Gessan (Monthly Shonen Sunday) magazine is announcing on Monday that manga creator Mitsuru Adachi will launch a "major new series" in the June issue on May 12. Some of the promotional images for the new series feature baseball, a common element in Adachi's works. The April issue is also confirming that Adachi will end his Q&A manga in the next issue.
A new adachi series? hopefully its about american footballI believe some people commented on this late in the last thread, but now we have confirmation: a new series from Mitsuru Adachi is on the way.
I'm a huge One Piece fan, but I'm really not digging the stuff that Oda has been doing lately. Everything is too crazy now, including the art and set pieces. I want my emotionally engaging story arcs back...
