They always give the player a half step for gathering it in there. You never see that called, especially with the players beat.

Lakers defense needs to stop allowing all these wide open 15 footers. Boston has nailed almost all of them since the 1st quarter.

It's major grey area but it's more you can only pull it if you go mostly straight up/jump into them straight. Jumping sideways or swinging your arms away from your shooting side and flailing is what they have been calling demonstrably less.
It was a bit funny at the start of the year guys like Billups/Kobe/Pierce/Durant didn't seem to understand why the refs were actually following the new rule.
Carmelo had 22 points on his 13 shots kobe has 6 less points and 3 more turnovers in the same number of shots but two more assists.
