Sports threads always have had 'sticky status' during the period I've lurked/posted on GAF, has it ever been different ?
Was not always like this. I think regular season used to just like other threads. But they were always near the top.

It's not really a big deal. But arguing it's for real estate space when there's 30 threads about iDevices is humorous. The great thing about these threads is they don't spawn other threads. NFL stories are just in here and unless it's Tebow related it doesn't seem to leak out anywhere else.

I rooted for the Pats when they were incredibly shitty. I'd still root for them, but just like I find it hard to root for Brady, I'd find it impossible to root for Tebow. He represents the complete opposite of what a QB should be.
