How many assists did melo have?

He's never going to be an assist guy. You can contribute to a team's offense outside of just assists. The best way to really explain it is by comparing Durant to Melo. Durant moves. He knows (just like melo knows) that defenses will key their attention to him the majority of the game. Durant will stay in motion off ball creating opportunities for his teammates. Melo will move - but mainly to where he'll be successful. Its a conundrum because both guys can score at almost any spot on the court but at the same time one guy uses that to his team's advantage and the other doesn't.

Two less than kobe, but 3 less turnovers....just like I said in the post.

Durant is obviously a better player.

It helps when you have Westbrook and harden instead of the corpse of amare and jeremy Linto.

Never had trouble moving the ball when it was going to Iversen/Billups/nene even the year he averaged 29-30

Carmelo is by FAR at his best working into the paint and punishing wings that don't have his strength and then getting offensive boards on top of that. When he is forced to catch the ball at the 3 point line 90% of the time and have mediocre teammates he obviously is going to be much less effective.

Boston's mid range shooting % is insane since the 2nd quarter started.

get a hand up on these shots, please.

HOW IS THAT A SHOOTing foUL!>!??!?!?!?!

Melo is shitty this year, shut up.

58% FT shooting is 116 points per 100 possessions. That's better than almost any offense.

Hack a _____ doesn't work unless the guy is below 54%.

Compared to his usual self yes, but outside of Tyson he's the only player who has been worth a damn on that team for more than a week and that doesn't even consider how long he was out with injury.

Only player that could possibly look decent in that situation is Durant due to crazy range and LeBron due to his physical gifts and having the past experience playing with a D-league level squad. Still easily the third best sf in the league.

That was complete bullshit that Bynum didn't get a 3pt play there. Getting pushed in the back on shit like that leads to injuries, HAVE to call that.

Sometimes you miss a swat on the fore arm but cmon. Refs have made numerous bad calls today, luckily they have been on both sides.

How is that not a 3 point play?

These refs have been so fucking 1 sided the last 6 minutes of this game. gifting Boston 4 points, no and 1 here. Come the fuck on. How much more obvious can that foul be!?

Couldn't disagree more.

The fact that he consistently allows more points scored against him than he can ever provide for his own team combined with the fact that he's shot his team out of most games this season... I'd take a lot of guys over him this season

Meh, Bynum don't give a fuck about hurting players so it wouldn't be a big deal if he got hurt.
