did i miss the explanation for why shane was a zombie
2 people died tonight and became zombies without getting bit. Use your imagination.

Also the only one of the hershel camp I want to survive is the one that wanted to commit suicide. She was kind of annoying and emo but she seemed like she could fit into the group once she gets her shit together. She can become Andrea's sister #2...and then die.

Have I hallucinated or are there three Hershel ladies? Maggie, young blondie and old blondie?

Maggie and Beth (young blondie) are Herschel's daughters.

Patricia (old blondie) is Otis's wife, now widow.

I think Otis and Patricia were just strays that wandered on Herschel's farm before Rick's group did.

Older blonde is one of his daughters from the second wife, isn't she? Or that young blondes mother since Maggie was his.

Please tell me they leave the farm?! Time to move on people. Hopefully this herd finds the farm location forcing them to leave.

Why else do you think a gazillion zombies conveniently showed up out of nowhere? Farm will get completely over-run by walkers forcing the survivors to a new location for season 3.

why did shane and prisoner kid turn into zombies i missed the ep

There's a replay going on right now.

Also, nothing was actually explained in the episode so for now you'll have to us your imagination.

nah i missed him coming back to life apparently

that zombie they killed wasnt that kid was it? i thought they were examining him and then attacked by another zombie

not sure what i was watching

...You're not actually watching the episode, are you? More like the TV's just on, am I right?

It's fun to picture what YOU would do in this situation. I guess hindsight is 20/20, but man, in retrospect they should've spent their days making quick trips to town to loot for fencing supplies, and then set up a massive perimeter encircling the farm. Chain-link fences work well to stop zombies, as we've seen at every school, so maybe they could've set up something similar and slowed the hordes long enough to whittle them down from the other side...
Once a horde forms though, you'd be trapped (no access to vehicles if they are outside the fence, slim chance of escape if they are inside), and a sufficient number of zombies would push the fences down like any mob. If they assaulted from multiple sides your group would only last as long as your ammo/arm strength.

My Guess on who dies after watching the preview of next weeks episode is
Carol and Daryl
, if I'm right there will be alot of pissed of fans.

I don't know why you all think T-dawg is going anywhere.

He may have only had about 3 total lines this season, but there's still that whole Merle thread from season 1 still dangling out there. I still think that's going to get resolved at some point.

Maybe zombie Merle led the herd to the house!

But seriously where did those HUNDREDS of zombies come from.. seemingly out of nowhere

I bet they heard Shane hammering nails into the metal windmill (lol while he was making fun of Rick for using "rubber washers with metal pipes") yeah hilarious, dipshit... you're hammering into metal (not even possible) and ringing the fucking dinner bell.

I spent the whole scene trying to figure out what the nails were going into.

Rick is the one who hadcuffed him. Glenn was there. Daryl will hopefully be alive. They don't exactly need T-Dogg, much like they haven't needed him the whole season.

I happen to know a lot about biology and carpentry... and TWD often tests my patience concerning such things.

I have to just turn that part of my brain off for an hour.

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE ZOMBEE BLOOD PARTICLES ON SHANE'S KNIFE GUIZE!??!?!?!?!? WEN WILL WE SOLVE THE MYSTERY OF THE KNIFE!!!?!?!?!?!?

On the set, Carl aimed at Shane when he started getting up. He sat up, moved around, and stumbled for a second before he stood into frame.

Ah, I see. The way it's edited, Carl is pointing the pistol before Shane gets up.

(I belatedly spoiler-tagged that very minor preview spoiler in the post you quoted. Could you do the same? I don't want to ruin anything for anyone.)

I assumed that was the case, but leave it to the cynics here to assume the opposite

*raspberry*

I bet he told Rick that they were already infected

OH SHIT. I bet you're right!

If daryl dies, I will rain hellfire down upon the writers

He DEFINITELY won't be. He's the muscle of the group now that Shane is gone... and they're going to need some kind of muscle next week. I NEED Daryl to live.

I have a feeling both Steve and Maggie are going to die.. perhaps carl too.

So, WHO do you guys think will die during the finale? :) (no leak/comic related spoilers!)

ps: kind of reminds me of the farmhouse finale from l4d2
