At least in Big Bens case I could see a fan clinging to he was never charged, but Perish Cox 100% raped that woman and got her pregnant. I dont see why anyone would want him on their team.

If it's one thing we know about Perry Fewell, he is a shrewd negotiator/GM. I can't really remember the last bad contract he's had outside of Rolle (and he's played his ass off) and maybe David Bass?

if manning is still manning then the cards could run away with the nfc west, sorry 49ers fans.

there's a good chance he isn't though.

Split fanbase... hahhahaahahahhahaaha.

If you want Tebow to start over Manning, you're fucking crazy and not a Broncos fan. Orton is one thing Manning is another. No split there.

Who should be the quarterback of the Denver Broncos in 2012?

At least the majority of Broncos fans understand what's going on.

I'm glad we worked out what Tebow was capable of last year... For all his ups and downs, we know where we are now with him.

I don't know the details, but why was he acquitted?

Oh, it seems they only proved that he impregnated her?

I HIGHLY doubt Manning is still GOD MODE ALMOST GOAT Manning. Even if he was completely, unquestionably healthy and not moving to the first new offense of his career, he's still 36.

36 for a normal QB is over the hill and past his prime. 36 for a dude with four neck surgeries?
Ummm....

I still think he's good enough to win the division easily for Arizona, Denver, Tennessee, and Houston. Miami's tougher because they have to deal with the Dark Lord, but still doable.

Wow that's still a horrible ratio. Assuming that 10% of people are idiots or dysfunctional in society, it should be at least 90%-10%.

he did fine with the garbage colts in 2010 and the best QBs can still be good well into their 30s .

That's why I said I think he's good enough to win the division easily if he goes to any of the NFC/AFC West or AFC South teams.

Manning will have the distinct advantage of wherever he goes, it will probably be the best team he's ever played with in his career.

I think the Canty deal isn't that bad, I had read he was expecting 7 mil that year. Also the Giants have so many pass rushers he doesn't see the field as much. 6/42 with $17.25 million guaranteed doesn't sound like a big overpay.

I have a feeling that the Falcons aren't going to do much of anything in free agency.

Hope Mike Nolan can get alot out of the current pieces that we have.

Welp, signing Perrish Cox is not my idea of how to start FA, don't really care if he's good, don't want to be like the Steelers fans defending a rapist.

Demaryius Thomas testified against him.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7...er-demaryius-thomas-testify-perrish-cox-trial

Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas testified at former teammate Perrish Cox's sexual assault trial Wednesday, saying that Cox carried a sleeping woman into his bed and then told Thomas, "I think she's ready."

Cox is accused of sexually assaulting the woman, who testified earlier Wednesday. Both the woman and Thomas told jurors they kissed on an air mattress at Cox's apartment after meeting Cox and Cox's girlfriend at a club.

Thomas said the woman fell asleep, and he dismissed Cox's suggestion, saying he didn't want to have sex with the woman because she was drunk.

Perrish Cox faces two years to life in prison if he is convicted on charges he sexually assaulted a woman in 2010.
"I wanted to have sex with her but I didn't," Thomas testified. "We hadn't done nothing before. I wasn't going to try nothing that night because she had been drinking. She had got drunk."

Cox's lawyer, Harvey Steinberg, objected to Thomas' testimony because he hadn't used the "she's ready" phrase in a previous interview and asked for a mistrial. The judge rejected that.

Thomas testified that Cox then sat with him in the living room for a while. He said the woman was still in the bedroom when he left about an hour later.

I like Tebow and I'll certainly be sad to see him part ways with the Broncos, but there's only one answer to that question and it's not Tebow.
First comment that says Kyle Orton gives us the best chance to win is awesome btw.

well... I guess that's just not enough for a conviction. I'm guessing there was no physical evidence of distress? I'm sure she'll be more successful in a civil suit though.

So this woman may have gotten raped by Cox while Cox' girlfriend was there too?

Yeah he must have been in some kind of an open relationship since it says he was kissing the other woman in front of his girlfriend at the club.

Are the Eagles really in on Mario Williams? Jeff McClane of the Inquirer was saying that he has the same agent as Nnamdi and Adam Schefter supposedly reported on ESPN that the Eagles were interested.

I highly doubt this. Makes no sense with Trent Cole and Babin on the team and playing well. Where would he fit? As a LB in 4-3 scheme? Don't think so.

More credible are the rumors that the Eagles might pick up Landry. Redskins fans whats the word on him? All I know is that he is terrible in coverage but he can hit and is a sure tackler.

I read that as Thomas was kissing the woman. Then she passed out from being drunk. The Thomas decided to not sleep with her cause he is classy like that. Then after he left, Cox said fuck it and then did fuck it.

Dang at Terrell Thomas contract. Lot of money for a guy coming off a serious injury. I hope his knee isn't bad. :\

I think this eliminates the Giants from drafting corner in R1, or early on.

Oh that makes a lot more sense. As to your last post I would love for the Eagles to get Landry but I am worried that he gets hurt so much. No way do they get Mario though, he cant play LB in a 4-3.

Cowboys released David Buehler (who keeps two place kickers on their active roster?) and Terrance Newman (He sucks).

lots of teams did after they lowered the kick off tee (and before changing the kickoff yardage last year of course).

I think Nolan can. The defense all things considered wasn't terrible last year. The main issues were the offense not showing up on multiple occasions.

Just like last offseason, my concerns are on the offensive line. The signings so far have been underwhelming at best.

RT @nfldraftscout: Source tells us #Patriots willing to trade two first round picks (27, 31) to move up to Top 10. Looking at defense.

IS THIS REAL LIFE?!

I don't know who this guy is and if hè really has 'sources' but OMG.

The Carolina Panthers have found a way to keep linebacker Thomas Davis.

Although he is coming off his third torn ACL, the Panthers want Davis back, and they made it happen by working around salary-cap challenges. A league source told ESPN.com that Davis’ deal has been restructured to free up $3.8 million in salary-cap space.

The Panthers chose not to exercise an $8 million option bonus that was due this week. The bonus was put in as a safeguard when Davis signed a new contract last summer. He suffered his third injury early last season.

Davis’ cap figure for 2012 is now a comfortable $2.1 million. In addition to not getting the bonus, Davis took a cut in base salary from $2.25 million to $700,000 for this season.

But Davis can recoup some of the money later in the contract that runs through 2015. He has a $500,000 option bonus in 2013, and a $2.5 million second option in 2014. His new base salaries rise steadily each season. If he’s still with the team in 2015, his base salary will be $7.25 million.

Finally some good Saints news.
Colston deserves every cent.
dude is a beast.
I'll be honest, I'm glad we didnt settle for Randy moss who might or might not have been motivated to play. Colston shows up every time.
I like the quiet WR's who just show up and ball.

That Lousiville v. MSU game is so gross. I hope someone releases anthrax into the building.

Sucks that Memphis got stuck with an 8 seed and a second round game with MSU...Memphis has the statistical profile of a 3-4 seed IIRC. I could see that game going either way.
