Oh, that's great. You guys do that annually? Saw a bunch of family members I hadn't seen in years this last Christmas. I bet they were all excited to see your little girl. No worries man, I wouldn't have bugged you if I knew it was a family trip.

Oh the chuckles this post gave me! Yes, I completely suggested Cards were god tier. I mean, everyone else should just pack it in for next year. When exactly did I say if we made that play or catch or yada yada? You're just pulling shit out of your ass, man. FMT pointed out we barely squeaked some wins and I countered with we barely lost to some teams and that was when we were shitty if that's what you're referring to. Hardly think that's the same thing. It's a real observation that we started playing better at the end of the season and that's what you go off for the next season's estimated performance.

Who gives a shit who we beat? The point is that we went from 1-6 to 8-8 which is no easy feat no matter who you play in the NFL. Teams like the Packers and Patriots don't drop that many games and look like shit to begin with, they are already elite teams. Finishing strong at the end of the season after such an abysmal start shows how much we grew and developed as a team and that we started getting things together. I liked what I saw from our defense to end the year and think we will be one of the top defenses sooner than later. Still need a piece or two but we're close. We'll be at least mediocre WITHOUT Manning. Manning takes us up another level.

My god you are delusional or else you were very selective in which portions of my posts you read. I very specifically stated that with Manning, we wouldn't be favorites, but we'd have a shot. I didn't realize that saying we'd win the NFC West implied that you are in the elite group of the top teams. DERP. While you're running your mouth, how about you take a look at most of our losses that were by the skin of our teeth so we just as easily could have ended with double digit wins and a playoff spot. It works two ways, buddy.

At least I know who to hit up next time I need a good laugh.

I was going to write a response but... you root for the Cardinals...The Cardinals.

WTF yo! smh @ Miami... This is why I started liking The Pittsburgh Steelers after Dan Marino retired. The Dolphins front office doesn't know what the fuck it's doing. 1st you don't sign Jeff Fisher as ur head coach you sign Joe Philbin(are you fucking ceral!) & you give up on Manning & prolly gonna sign Fylnn's bitch ass to a multi-million contract after only playing in 2games. And now you trade Brandon Marshall for two 3rd round picks are you fucking kidding me!!!! go fuck ur self Miami

Whatever. My guess is 5 years, $39 mil, $14 mil guaranteed

Colts forums just say he got $8 mil a year.

As a Colts fan, I wanted to retain him, but for that much he's free to go. He's moderately quick for a WR who often gets cases of stone hands. Colts making the right choices here, but at some point, Luck's gotta be thinking "So I have Austin Collie and....."

Oh well, this makes me excited at least... http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=UQbQv8NLjaw

Looks like a deal is likely. The Cowboys desperately need secondary help so it will be a good pick up but I'm wondering how much they'll end up paying considering they need safety help badly (and the safety class isn't great in the draft).

7 mill would be a steal especially since Scandrick(lol) is making more.

it's funny that in all this, you hear the same teams every year making FA splashes
and every year those teams are dog shit

If you sign the right guy it can make a difference. Bears sucked in 2009. Signed Julius Peppers in 2010 and won the NFC North and lost in the conference championship game to a villainous opponent not to be named.

You don't pick one, you just follow all the usual guys who announce this stuff, just Schetfer and La Canfora.

Duh, I'm following both these guys, Peter King and John Clayton and don't see any of these rumors you guys are posting

EDIT: Thanks Bowser

Is this a joke or do you guys really like him?

I really liked him. He is just a really solid player who can become very good. He was pretty much our best WR until he got injured, was finally starting to come into his own. Guy does have injury issues, but he's a phenomenal blocker who can play 3 downs with underrated speed.

Wow, honestly I'm not that upset we traded Marshall. Dude just dropped the ball every time we're in the endzone. And I'm glad that we have Philbin as a HC, I thought Fisher was a mediocre coach anyway. And I don't believe we given up on Peyton Manning, he stll hasn't sign yet! I'm just gonna take everything this offseason in stride and hope for the best.

Hyper-reactionary is always the best way to make million dollar decisions.

Well, I've always thought we needed Wallace but now with the lack of able WR's on our team we absolutely need him. :)

Is this a joke or do you guys really like him?

I really liked the kid. He never had good numbers but he was our most reliable WR. He is a damn good locker room guy, too. If you do sign him, its a great value signing.

It's going to be funny listening to Redskins fans bitch about their crappy wide receivers killing RGIII this season after what I assume will be an off-season of pumping these #3's up to be greats.
Eh only the most homerish of fans will pump up these signings. I haven't seen a lot of excitement over them.

He plays in the NFC Championship game and the 49ers are going to the Super Bowl. He's not a great WR, but he's consistent, has great hands and is an excellent blocker.

Honestly, if I had to choose between Morgan or Crabtree, I'd take Morgan. Morgan is willing to put the effort in to be a good WR, unlike Crabtree.

Was just coming to see what 49er GAF thought of Morgan, but looks like a bunch have already chipped in. Sounds like a good solid signing.

WRs:
Garcon
Gaffney
Hankerson
Morgan
Moss
Paul
Armstrong

getting better. I like the Garcon pickup. Not as much as I'd have liked Jackson, but hey when you get 18mill in cap taken away that'll happen. I'm not going to say these guys will be elite, but certainly better than what we had

Last time Redskins fans got excited over receivers was Randle El and Brandon Lloyd JNC:

James Jones to visit Rams now as well. Another Titan . . . And they are trying to get Meachom to visit. Another Saint . . . at least he's on offense. That's sort of off schedule

How did this happen to them? I don't remember hearing anything about the Texans having to dismantle their team except for letting Williams go.

I think they are getting murdered by the cap space. Last I checked we had about half a million of wiggle room :(
