Why do people think QBs will fall to them? Tannehill will go earlier than Miami's pick. Same with Weeden and Denver. QBs always at a premium

I guess I don't see who is going to move for Tannehill. Same with Weeden. It all can change, but I'm curious as to your thoughts on this.

Rams will also wrap up deal with Jones tonight. I know they are improvements, but God, why are coaches so myopic? There are 30 other teams. When they have FAs, you can sign them. Not just your former players

More cap space for the Giants:

Ralph Vacchiano ‏ @TheBlueScreen
Looks like OL David Diehl restructured his contract, lowering his base salary from $4.2M to $1.2M. That clears another $1.5M in cap space.

I suspect this move is an alternative to the Giants cutting him, as some were predicting.

It is very realistic to think Tannehill will be there at #8 for the Dolphins, especially now that Flynn is with the Browns.

I am still in shock that we're actually go after people.

It's like, suddenly, the Bills front office wants to make an attempt at winning some games. Like, football games. In real life.

4 years, 90 million, 45 million guaranteed is what I'm seeing floating around for Manning. 22.5 million a year. I think it's way too much.

Way too much, unless they do a pro day and have doctors check him out and clear him as healthy. Then its still a bit too much

SEA and KC will move up for a QB. KC could bring in Weeden to compete with Cassell. CLE may draft Tannehill at 4 if they can't trade down a little.

Jets extended Sanchez. Dolphins have no clue what is happening. Opportunity for the Bills to move up.

Personally, I'm still not sold on Beatty.
Then you weren't watching Diehl at LT.;) Beatty needs work in the running game, but he was excellent in pass protection. At this point in his career, Diehl is shit at both. He was even worse at guard.

We have the easiest schedule in the league this year, too. We may break 500.

Unless we ball out on Mario and Flynn. Then we'll make the playoffs.

Aren't the Browns close to landing HOFlynn? Why the fuck would they draft Tannehill if they get Flynn?

Are they? Thought that was debunked? Obviously they won't draft him if they get Flynn. Even so, everyone will then know who Miami will draft. So teams w/QB needs will try and jump them

Remember how far teams reached on QBs last year? Low cost of rookies in CBA means you can take risks early in round 1.

Was it? And yeah that's true about the other teams.

Interesting scenario. I personally think that Flynn lands in CLE. Tannehill to Miami. Then it's anybody's guess after that. More conservative scenario though.

It's the same as with RG3. SEA, MIA, CLE and WAS were desperate to fix their QB issues. MIA and SEA were out b/c that was too far to move, and so WAS and CLE both bid a ton.

Manning is at DEN or TEN, and Flynn is at either MIA or SEA. So CLE and at least one team need a QB. They have to do something. CLE will take Tannehill at #4, b/c they know MIA or SEA will take him if they try and trade too far down.

Vincent Jackson is a Buccaneer, 5-yr $55.55M/$26M guaranteed

Fox 13 reports that Carl Nicks is already in Tampa, tonight.

Tannehill at 4? Yikes.

Has there ever been a draft where 3 QB were drafted in the top 5?

Flynn won't sign until Peyton signs. He'd be a fool to not jump on a desperate team that Manning leaves at the altar.

POUR IT ON, IONA!
