Sounds about right.
See it through.
Yeah, see it through...

I haven't...yeah, I haven't seen any real adversity to long-running series. Shounens, yeah, but Space Bros isn't a shounen, from what I'm gathering.

Edit: Ah, I read your post wrong. And I disagree. There's been a decent amount of adversity to long-running shows from some of the top posters. Hell, Jexhius flat out refused to start Gintama for the longest time because of its length.

No he isn't. I'd rather people not watch it at all instead of piss all over it.At least Hix is watching the anime.
There are plenty of people watching Smile Precure.
If you can really call that "watching."At least Hix is watching the anime.

Moeskirt Pirates 11
Now if only they get real singers or character VAs to do the OP/ED for the second half, it'll be perfect.
No he isn't.Nah, he is watching it.
You haven't seen episode one, sorry.
Hix post is one of the worst posts I've seen in AnimeGAF.
Hix is a monster that must be stopped.
WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT
YOU MONSTER
Do I get a tag yet?
Yeah, hmm. You're not the first person to suggest it should be thought of as a bunch of pirates trying to sing rather than a normal theme song. I may have to admit defeat on this. Maybe I can imagine it's those various nameless crewwomen that appeared in ep 11...What the OP/ED is perfect for the anime, I just imagine the female crew just singing the songs it sounds really fitting in an odd way, especially the OP.
Blame the black bars! I'm just a victim!
One day you will wake up and your entire life will have black bars. Then you'll be sorry.

One morning, as Hix was waking up from anxious dreams, he discovered that in his bed he had been changed into a giant black bar.
Change his name to Hixteen-Nine too.
But what about horizontal black bars?I'm going to invent miniature theater curtains that attach to the sides of computer monitors and HDTVs and make a fortune.

That'll cost extra. But what about horizontal black bars?
He is probably watching it with the English audio and subtitles!I see you've chosen to be the heel in animugaf community. You should watch it dubbed to add additional salt.

EDIT: And with that I'm off to bed, night folks.
Giant Robo : The Day Earth Stood Still (the whole thing)
That was incredible. I don't understand how this isn't a bigger thing. I know that it is considered quite highly, but from what I can gather it doesn't look like enough people know about it. Or am I crazy?
I, myself, only watched it because of it looked like the logical thing to do after watching Imagawa other works and playing Super Robot Wars Alpha last month, which got me intrigued. No need to say that as a mecha "fan" (eh...) I am wondering how I managed to not know about this until now.
The self-contained plot itself was fairly standard with plot devices you could see coming from a mile away, but the way it was directed and about every other aspect was simply wonderful : art style, music, characters, the intriguing extended plot and world setting, and so on.
It's too bad they'll never extend on prequels or sequels, the last episodes got really intriguing with the Big Fire mysteries. And by that I mean the organisation and character alike, leaving one to wonder what they were actually up to. Especially considering who Big Fire is actually based on.
The Shenmue fan I am won't ponder too much about that incomplete story, I don't need a second cross to bear.
I might be mistaken as it's been a while but I think the incomplete story was intentional. We were just supposed to get a section of the whole that harkened back to the days of serials and was more or less an homage to Mitsuteru Yokoyama's career given the characters were lifted from his various works.
Imagawa intended "The Day the Earth Stood Still" to be the second to final chapter in the conflict between the Experts of Justice and Big Fire.[11] The OVA would be preceded by "The Birth of Zangetsu the Midday,"[12] "The Plan to Assassinate Daisaku - the Canary Penitentiary," "The Boy of Three Days," "The Greatest Battle in History - General Kanshin vs. Shokatsu Koumei," and "The Boy Detective, Kindaichi Shōtarō, Appears!"[13] The final chapter is titled "The Siege of Babel". No further stories have been animated.[6]

I wonder what the otaku reaction to Usagi would be if Sailor Moon was created today.
