What criteria does certain edition of a game have to meet to be called CE?
I think the main criteria is that it should be called CE, not DE. Well, at least it is how I understand it.
I wonder how the reviews will be![]()
Last time only complain was , hard beggining (no tutorial) and short act 3 where they addes several hours to that..

- It's not mass efect
- Also, it's not Skyrim
9/10
ign review:
- graphics are too detailed and distract me,
- its hard to tell what I do is good or bad. should be colour-coded,
- they didn't pay us enough money.
- obviiously something created by less than 700 people should't be considered a AAA game.
7.6/10.

The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition New Elements Trailer
Magnificent.
The Enhanced Edition will also add an extended outro!(if ME3 could only have something like this...)
I can't wait to buy this game, looks incredible. I thought mass effect 3 was amazing all in all, but was indeed disappointed by the ending, is the end game for this game satisfying? I heard they actually went back and improved it further.

It'll be patched into the PC version on Day 1.I probably missed this while flipping through the thread, but anything said about adding the content in EE to the PC version?

In any case, I think CDR is adding content to Act 3.
I'm still bitter over the hard beginning complaints because it was nerfed. People on here complained about it too, this wasn't just the media. I died a few times at first because I was learning the controls but it made me learn from my mistakes. Now I just breeze through it.

Yes, it will be added through a patch on the same day as the 360 release.

- no Jessica Chobot in this game
- it doesn't have guns
- it has boobies, and boobies are dangerous for Americans
- no option of gay romance with Iorweth
- Story DLC added into the game, lol it shipped incomplete
- no multiplayer
- etc
0.0/10.

I haven't played it in ages so I don't know how hard they nerfed it, but it seems to me most of the "It's too hard" complaints were rooted in the laggy, shitty controls and dumb, unresponsiveness combat design, both of which deserve all the complaints they got.
I said it in the OT, but The Witcher 2's combat was like Demon's/Dark Souls done wrong.

Where're you from? USA? The Dark edition is sold out I think.
Was the controls one of the things they are fixing?
What if IGN just cuts and pasts their PC review? http://pc.ign.com/articles/116/1168535p1.html
Well, they're saying "extended outro" so who knows what they have changed. Most of the complains I have heard are not about the ending itself, but that the third act is short and feels a little rushed when compared to the others. While this is true, I think is a little unfair because there's a lot of content before that, and actually Act 2 is completely different depending on a choice you make. In any case, I think CDR is adding content to Act 3.
I think trailers released are not 360 footage. EE comes to PC as well so they most certainly use PC gameplay. That what they will do and have about a 1/4 of the review dedicated to how it does not look as good as the PC version etc.
I would hope that reviewers wont do that because we are talking about a cutting edge game that was designed for the memory/gpu/cpu of a up to date computer versus a console that is going on 7 years old.
Based on video's of the 360 version, they used some black magic or something to make it look as good as it does.
Nah, I'm in the States. But I haven't been able to actually order the dark edition anywhere.if you are in Europe it won't (for some time)
I preordered at Amazon. Is there a better option?
Toys R Us has the standard 360 version for $44.99.

They fixed most of the problems in the 2.0 patch I think. I know after that I haven't had any unresponsive problems anymore. Every button I hit in combat registers perfectly now.
Sweet. i was going to do another play though, but now I will wait for this.
I probably missed it, but are they giving the EE content free to those that bought the game for the PC?
Simple answer; yes. All of it. No cost.
Thanks.
It's things like that that make CD Projekt a developer who's games i will keep buying day 1.
