Just ran across GetBackers on the Anime Network site, along with countless other titles I just had to watch. I want to go on, but I do not have time to watch 49 episodes! I am pretty sure I will not be able to start any anime from the spring season if I keep stumbling across older titles.
Get this guy an anime contract now.

In addition to what's already been said, I'll also add that the Pandora Boxes were tied to Cloths in a way that made them physical armor rather than magical armor. At several points in the series, they seem to take on a life of their own or possess the will of the owner who may or may not have already died. They might fly to saints in need and lend them their strength, usually accompanied by bittersweet tears and other stuff like that.
If it's just a magical artifact tied to a single person, that completely kills scenes like that which were some of the highlights in the original series.

Bleach Movie 3: Fade to Black (dub)
Been sitting on this one for a few months. Bleach looks pretty epic in the HD Blu Ray, kind of wish they actually did release the series like it (Viz), regardless, nice price for it. The movie is perhaps my second favorite on the three Ive seen, Diamond Dust Rebellion still my favorite (Hitsugaya). Though this one had great moments of extensive focus on Ichigo which was great and the action and music was pretty cool (even Number One got in). Pleasantly shocked by

Kisuke actually taking part in fighting and in Renji Ichigo development, as well as Byakuya's swift appearance at the final showdown

Anyway, I just finished watching The 08th MS Team for the first time since I watched it as a kid on Cartoon Network. I even watched Miller's Report too. I can't believe Cartoon Network didn't air the last episode. >:| The writing isn't as great as I remember, of course, but it's still pretty good. Then there's the action. God damn. Episode ten is just fantastic. Looking at the credits on ANN, I had no idea that the original director died during or after the production of episode six. The second director did a great job, even better I'd say. I can't believe I never realized that it had the same character designer as Cowboy Bebop.

No anime ending has ever driven me closer to reflexively throwing my laptop out of a window in rage.

You are by no means obligated to do so but there is backstory stuff in there occasionally. None of it is essential information though. It's probably better just to watch it and maybe go back when you're done with the episode if you find yourself wanting to.

Man 08th MS Team was so great. I need to rewatch that again sometime.
Still my favorite Gundam series besides G-Gundam.
