I really don't think I'll get over the original cast. I thought Korra was suppose to be Aang and Katara's daughter? Did they air the episodes already?
They've already far in the development of season 2 though. Most of it have probably already been storyboarded/animated.
No dude, the avatar can't be their own kid... probably... she's blood unrelated to anyone from the previous series, I think.
Do we know how far they're into the episode count? If they're almost done then I doubt we'll get more episodes as the storyline is already set unless they want an open ending for possible future seasons(which is kinda contrary to the original series) like a new big bad coming out of the woodworks.

Like someone else said, I dont think it really has to do with ratings, because they are and will be quite good. I think it will have to do if the creators have any good ideas for season 3 that the want to explore
Either way, I see them making the decision at the end of season 1.

I love the way that Roku moves, so precise and elegant. Korra's waterbending is nice. Aang seems kind of laid back but his airbending looks so powerful, I would hate to be on the receiving end of that. Kyoshi was meh in this but is awesome in the first series.
It really forces artificial fighting styles. It's a very offensive oriented game and it doesn't reward defense.
