It really is annoying how this has to be repeated on almost every page in response to the "drive by" posters who can't take the time to read the last 10 posts before they make their comments.
 
Wanna see how Conservatives really feel? Check out the front page at drudgereport.com. Every single negative story, including the fake picture, is right there on the front page. These people are disgusting. I'm not saying all Republicans are, because I know many that are not, but the ones for whom sites like this are their main source of news are.

If the kid punched Zimmerman THAT'S A GOOD THING. He defended himself as best he could from a stranger who brought on a physical confrontation. HOW can Zimmerman get off on 'self defense' if he STARTED the whole thing. I don't understand it. How anyone can be in favor of Zimmerman or try to bring up irrelavent shit to try to boost his defense. The facts are clear. The kid committed no crime, he walked down the street with a hoody some skittles and was black. For that Zimmerman thought he was suspicious and ended his life. And people want to shit on the kid for trying to defend himself as if that justifies anything. Fucking shameful. I hope Zimmerman gets the book thrown at him as well as the police involved in explaining away/covering up everything.

Geraldo Rivera is a fucking cunt too as if nobody should wear a hoody otherwise you're branded as a potential thief/murderer/rapist. I'm surprised he didn't go on a full rant about women who wear skirts "bringing on" rape.

Yep, i came in here to post something similar. It just doesn't make sense, this is a pretty open and shut case as far as Zimmerman goes. And where Zimmerman goes should be prison.

The only thing I can figure is that not only are the police trying to protect Zimmerman they are also trying to protect themselves as well. I know some of the police involved should be going to prison as well so I guess they gotta do all they can to protect the hive.

I for one can't believe the shooter is not arrested. But I think it is unfair to assume that ALL people wanting to know the whole story are doing so to vindicate the shooter (or even demonize the kid). I mean, I know this case brings out a lot of emotions, but I think trying to get all the facts is NOT EQUAL to "I love the white gunman" or "I hate the black hoodlum". Some people can live in the world of innocent until proven guilty, even when you are emotionally overtaken by the loss of a young man.

Again, with the facts that I DO know, I hate my country for not having a shooter arrested and properly questioned (stand your ground law or not).

Edit: Another thing that pisses me off is that I found out about this on GAF (what, nearly a month ago?) and it took most of the U.S. 2 weeks to even acknowledge this case.

This is something I have been wondering about ever since Zimmerman's call to the police was released. It will be important information about the extent to which Zimmerman was pursuing Martin (and Martin fleeing Zimmerman, which we observe to begin at the point of the 911 call where Zimmerman gives the location) and it has the potential to undermine any statements Zimmerman gave to the police that night about what happened. It also likely has relevance to Zimmerman's "aggressor" status.

What I want to know is why would Treyvon run and then double back to confront the person he's running from? Why not just stop, turn around and confront his stalker right when he sees him?

And the whole, "well you have a problem now" line sounds like something out of a movie.

There were talking about this on the local medias this morning, I was rather surprised, but anyhow they mentionned that the kid was seen slamming the other guy's head on the pavement?! And that it was confirmed by a witness? Who is that witness?! They also mentionned that the kid was caught with an empty bag that had particules of weed in it recently.

Tell me about it. It's pretty infuriating to think that if something like this happened to me a smear campaign would be done against me the victim and not the person who killed me. Shuri what bearing does the weed have on the case? Plus multiple witnesses say it was Trayvon being beaten and some were corrected by the police in their statements.

To be clear, the leak came from somewhere within the department, but that doesn't mean that it was condoned by the department.

However, the Miami Herald got information about Martin's suspensions from open records requests.
 
Reading more about Trayvon, the real Trayvon, not the thug life fake Trayvon, it saddens me even more. He really did sound like a good kid. The story about how he pulled his father from a burning building and how his father is broken that he couldn't reciprocate and protect him really touched me. :(

I know it wasn't condoned, but someone within that department has some sort of agenda.

I'm also not so sure about the second part. I don't think schools tend to allow that. Unless there were criminal charges, which there weren't.

So far no one has corroborated the head smashing on the pavement thing, he was apparently treated on the scene for a bloody nose, and was told a hospital visit was unnecessary by on site paramedics, he went the next day anyway.

The actual extent of his injuries are unknown, as there is no picture evidence, and his injuries were not initially on the police report (they were added much later).

Regardless, if a guy is getting the back of his head smashed on the pavement repeatedly, screaming throughout all of this, unable to throw his 140lb aggressor, fires a warning shot, but this hardened 17 year old is unrelenting on the punching and smashing - for what apparently is going on for half a minute at least going by the 911 - you'd think it would warrant

1. A hospital visit
2. The worlds strongest kid for his weight class medal

The thing is, he's lived and patrolled that community for years. There's no way on this earth that he wouldn't already know all of the streets by now. That, in and of itself, was a fucking lie. It's like me driving around the block and not knowing what street I'll end up on.

He specifically directed the police on the call to a very triangulated position, not just the cross street. I believe he said something like, "Go PAST the clubhouse, don't turn at it" or similar.

Ergo, he knew the place inside out.
