Actually. Maybe the next Avatar series can take place in a modern highschool, with bending classes. The Avatar can be that nerdy kid who eventually gets the most popular girl in school despite the fact that she is currently dating the jerk jock.

Also there will be segregation based on bending as well as social status. Like most of the bendball players with be earhtbenders, while the drama club will be mostly water and airbenders.

So spectacular spider man with benders?

Mako is utterly generic, and useless. He could be Naruto's Sasuke 2.1

They should get rid of him. Fast. Bolin is alright. He's no Sokka, but he's at least got some personality to him.

I could really see the 'Aang' in Korra particularly in the meditation scene, it's almost as if Mike and Bryan told the animators to take Aang's characteristics and overlay them onto Korra's frame.

How can you people say that after one episode where we saw him for 10 minutes total or so?
That's like judging Iroh after the first two episodes of TLA where he basically was just a comic relief character on Zuko's side. At least give it some time. The hate is too strong already.

This is very true. Really of any show. People get upset about something, before where we see where it's headed. This simply isn't how serialized entertainment functions.
I find it hard to have any strong opinions beyond just optimism considering how little I know of it.
