Amazing stuff. Astroboy and Gigantor were freaking hilarious. Seeing some of my favourites like Zoids would have been cool but it was a lot of fun. And please be a regular thing. I will find a way to pay money to watch regular Toonami.
 
Great night full of nostalgia. Definitely wanna see more Yu Yu Hakusho after tonight since the last I saw of it was the Dark Tournament. Seeing the fight scene with that six-eared guy was freakin' badass.

Astro Boy and Gigantor were also surprisingly hilarious.
 
if adult swim did this every week, and left us gussing what was gonna come next like tonite, it would serious be the best thing for anime in america in YEARS
 
Hahahah wow at the as boards. People complaining that they can't watch their horrible anime like Durara and FMA and are filled with "why are they airing anime they do not know".

But FMA is better than most of the shows that's airing on toonami right now..
 
That's it? They just signed off with a later, no voice acting, no nothing... they're acting like they'll be back next Saturday. I don't know how to feel... I wanted some closure. I hadn't watched TV like that since I was a kid... passively absorbing everything. I'd forgotten how it felt. I'll catch the stuff I missed tomorrow, but I'm glad I got to see toonami live one last time... I wish it wouldn't end like that, though... please don't play with our emotions like that, CN...
 
I just woke up to this and I'm watching the runback on DVR now. This is the greatest thing ever. CN would be stupid as fuck to ignore the hype this is bringing out of people. T.O.M, it's good to see an old friend again. Only, Toonami.

Not gonna happen, as many years as CN and Adult Swim had to fix the anime situation in the US, I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see it hapen,

Well, to be fair, that's exactly the sort of stuff that would be improved by being jammed into Toonami

APRILS FOOL'S.
 
I know nothing about producing a cable television station, but a weekly 3 hour block of alternating classic and more-new anime (and other shows that fit into the toonami style) would be awesome.
 
Original FMA anime has a silly ending. But the overall production is on a much higher level than either the manga or brotherhood. I enjoy all three incarnations of the series though.
