Is there any truth to the rumor that Lesnar signed a 1 year contract and is in Miami? Or is it a cruel April fools joke?

I called him earlier today, and he said "yeah."

BTW, did you guys know that Lesnar said in his book that he envied Kane more than anyone else throughout his whole WWE career?

Is it cause Vince didn't let him wear a mask and play with fire?

Vague WrestleMania predictions for tonight. One match will be terribly disappointing. One match will be pleasantly better than we expected.

Prediction time!

Triple H vs Undertaker

duh.

Team Teddy vs Team Johnny

Isn't the stip that the winner takes over both shows? It would be awful if Teddy won. Johnny is taking this for sure, they'll continue to try and mold Mr. McMahon out of him (and fail, but Johnny is hilarious so it's okay).

Rhodes vs Show

Squash. Show knocks him out in 5 seconds. Boooooring.

Orton vs. Kane

duh

Kelly Kelly and Maria Menudos
vs. Beth Phoenix and Eve

duh. celebrity guest ain't losing. Eve will be pinned.

Now, for the interesting ones:

Bryan vs Sheamus

Jesus, Sheamus truly is Cena-lite. No personality beyond banging his chest with his hand, which the little jimmies LOVE for whatever reason. He has been virtually non-existant during the build from Rumble to Mania. Bryan has been the sole reason to watch Smackdown lately. It would be retarded if they took the belt off him, the dude is really hot right now. Fuck the Royal Rumble, the winner can lose at Mania once in a while.

Punk vs Y2J

This one can go either way, honestly. I can see Y2J winning the belt, and prolonging this feud for a little while longer. However, I think Punk takes it tonight, the feud ends, and Austin comes out to challenge him at next year's Mania. ugh.

Rock vs Cena

There will be a clean finish. And it will be Rock. I can't see Cena winning this in Rock's home town. He'll get booed out the building. I think people throw around the word "bury" too much. Losing today will not bury Cena. The feud will continue until Wrestlemania next year where Cena will get the best of the Rock. But not today.

If Cena wins, then he's the greatest ever. Doesn't really make for exciting television. Instead, he'll lose, and we'll not only see how he deals with not only losing to the Rock, but how he deals with getting booed at Wrestlemania as the main man of the company today.

Once in a while? No one has won the Rumble and their WM match since Undertaker in 2007.

Looking at these predictions the biggest possible swerve of the night is Kane beating Orton, people have more faith in HHH burying the streak and Rock beating Super Cena than Kane avoiding one of those out of nowhere RKO's.

wonder if triple h will have a metallica song again they have been using metallica's memory remains in the promos

What TNA wanted for Flair:
*One TNA mention on the Monday HOF show
*One WWE wrestler to appear as a talking head on a future TNA dvd (in exchange for Flair being on the HOF dvd)

Meltzer implied that the second point wasn't an issue with WWE, but the first was. At the moment, it appears that TNA apparently folded on their demands and just let Flair go.

Having ppv trouble, hope Comcast can resolve it soon

Oh TNA...

Lesnar was spotted at the Miami airport earlier today. When asked if he was there to wrestle he pointed down at his fanny pack and said "What do you think?"

On today's WrassleGaf recap, we take a trip back to December 2011 when the prospect of "Kane in 2012" was simply too much for two wrasslegaffers to handle.

Heavy, why do you take this stuff so seriously? :lol

Kane's promo was terrible IMO, especially to close the show with. If Kane had come out and said all that crap when Cena called him out, I'm sure I would've forgotten about it by now, but to close the show with that rambling monologue and Kane attempting to sound so much deeper than he really is was so bad. Like what you like, and I'll like what I like. It's about to be 2012, and I don't give 2 shits about Kane.

Gotdamn, I'm arguin about KANE right now? smh.

BTW, since you have this ridiculous idea in your head that I hate everything WWE the stuff on Raw I liked were: Johnny Ace, who's actually turned my opinion around on how I originally felt about him, Booker/Cody despite Booker winning which is kinda ridiculous, R-Truth being crazy, and ADR in the wheelchair. Do I need to announce to the thread every time I splooge my pants like you do just so my criticism is "genuine?" I don't think so, especially since there are 15 other people who will probably post those same likes. If anyone's playing up a gimmick it's you with your white knight attitude towards anyone criticizing the show. Excuse me for having different tastes and not marking out over every single positive thing that happens on a program I've been watching for 15+ years.

Brb, gonna go stick "The Psychological Analysis of John Cena By The Coward Kane" in the ballot box for promo of the decade.

No offense, but I don't get your point about Kane in 2012? This is wrestling, and the old guys are always on top.

We're about to have a WM that is headlined all around by old dudes. The Rock vs. Cena, Jericho vs. Punk, and HHH vs. Taker with HBK (who's retired) [WTF!? How'd you know about HBK back in December, SoulPlaya?] as the ref. I mean, that match is a rematch of a rematch of a match from 10 years ago.

I mean, if your problem with Kane is that he shouldn't be headlining a show in 2012, then you should probably just stop watching for the next few months. Hell, we just had a HHH/Nash program go on for months.

I, personally, don't enjoy watching Kane, HHH, or Nash. The Rock also to a lesser extent, but I'm guessing that's just fallout from feuding with the most boring opponents possible. I'm cool with Jericho and Taker as long as they can go in the ring. My comment was just to point out the fact that I'm having to defend my stance on a Kane promo in what's about to be 2012. Kane. In 2012. Who cares? Shouldn't really be a big deal that I thought it was terrible.

I was reading stuff about ROH wanting to bring in NOAH guys since like July. Good to see it's finally happening.

It's not a big deal that you thought it was terrible, but I'm amazed that you're shocked that Kane is relevant in 2012. Dude, over the past year we've had Kevin Nash, Big Show, Mark Henry, The Rock, HHH, Undertaker, and are about to have Chris Jericho all be in major programs.

Why would Kane being relevant in 2012 surprise you?

It's doesn't surprise me in the least which is another issue for another time. My point was strictly that I'm having to defend my opinion that a Kane promo was terrible. Why should anyone take offense to me thinking a Kane promo was terrible in December 2011 when Kane's been one of the most mediocre performers for, literally, years before finally getting his stuff together for one World Title run? Kane isn't worth arguing over. It's freakin' Kane.

The problem is that you want others to respect your opinion, but you're shitting on other people's opinions, simply because they want to discuss Kane.

You absolutely have the right to dislike Kane's promo, but don't dismiss other people's opinion, because "it's freakin' Kane".

Who's opinion did I shit on? This whole this stems from me calling the Kane monologue terrible, spin replied that it "Wasn't THAT bad," me explaining why I thought it was, and life went on. Heavy's the one constantly coming to the rescue, and acting like criticism isn't warranted unless it comes from his mouth or is book ended by some kind of optimism that I don't care to display. If anything, I'M the one constantly stating that my criticism is just as valid as someone else's opinion who likes what they saw.

This is a forum, we discuss shit to the nth degree, opinions are thrown out, not everyone will agree on everything. That's how it works. For him to get so butt hurt and claim he "almost put me on ignore" is some shit I don't care to argue about, especially when it stems from a KANE PROMO.

FREAKIN' KANE?!?!

ofih3u9fi23n0fgn23imnf023mn

You're shitting on people's opinions by saying "I can't believe we're discussing freakin' Kane in 2012."

If people want to discuss Kane, let them, especially on a show that has HHH, Nash, Henry, and Show in major positions.

Where did I say people shouldn't discuss Kane if they want to? I was just making a little side note that I think it's nuts for me to be in whatever nerd feud this is over a Kane promo. People like dream are free to fantasy book Kane into as many philosophical debates as they want to, I just think MY discussion in particular is laughable...especially when it's with the resident crazy man of the thread.

So, let me get this straight. You came onto a wrestling thread on the internet, posted an opinion on Kane, had someone disagree with you, then started saying that you think that it's ridiculous that you're involved in a discussion that you essentially started.

What were you expecting? People to just ignore your opinion (or only agree with you)? Why post it, if that's what you wanted?

It's clear to me that you've been quietly marking out and booking scenarios for Psychiatrist/Philosopher Kane since Raw ended last night.

No, I came into a wrestling thread, posted my opinion, and had someone react in a fashion I deem totally ridiculous who attacked ME rather than just discussing the topic at hand. You think I care or want to read about who Heavy likes, what he thinks is genuine, or who he puts on his ignore list? I wanted to discuss wrestling, not his personal emotions. THAT opinion I WILL shit on because this isn't the time or the place to air out his reality TV drama. He can keep that shit to himself and never respond to my posts again if it concerns that for all I care.

Look, I really don't care about you and Heavy's "feud". I just thought it was ridiculous that you said that you couldn't believe you were having an argument about Kane, as if an argument about half the guys currently on RAW is somehow more relevant and important.

I'm not saying that Kane is that important, I'm just saying he's just as relevant as most of the guys on the show.

We'll have to agree to disagree because Kane, especially in his current role, isn't relevant whatsoever. The guy's clearly a placeholder feud to bridge the gap between now and whenever the Cena/Rock build kicks in fully. They're using him in the same way Piper was used a few weeks back to attempt to bring out whatever demons are inside of Cena, and he'll be midcard again in like a month. Kane, at this point in the game, isn't worth sparking an argument that has gotten so far besides the point and lasted 4 pages (on 50 ppp).

That's all I meant. Everyone's awesome, everyone's opinion is valid, everyone matters, everyone's special, Bush doesn't care about black people, I got 2 words for ya, good night, goodbye, and peace out. Let's discuss wrasslin again.

Oh no you don't. If I never discuss Kane again for the rest of my life it'll be too soon.

Let's move on to more riveting angles such as figuring out exactly how deep the spiritual link is between the US Champion Zack Ryder, and Eve. Personally, I think Zack Ryder needs to EMBRACE the "Woo woo woo" chant instead of rising above it. At least then Eve will be able have nice conversations with him while they walk on the beach at sunset.

I wonder if Kane is planning on adding Eve to his collection of women? What do you think Wrecker?

fffffuuuuuuuuu

--For what it's worth, Brock Lesnar and his "large entourage" a couple of hours back left the hotel for the arena. So he's been in the building for a while, although we just got texted from backstage that his security is there but nobody has seen him, so perhaps he's in private meetings.

--There were still some tickets left at the box office, although not a ton. Stubhub had 967 tickets left as of a few hours ago so most of the cut-priced tickets moved. As of the early afternoon, there were still plenty of tickets $12-$15 in the upper deck and $199 to $500 on the field. The building will be full no matter what. The general "mark up" of WrestleMania announced attendance in recent years has been 7,000 to 15,000, so expect a number close to 80,000 to be announced.

--Rima Fakih was among those signing autographs at Fan Axxess. That's the Miss USA who was on Tough Enough and then did a Kurt Angle while driving.

Undertaker would probably ruin Wrasslemania for me. The streak deserves to either stay intact, or let a young guy break it.

I'm looking forward to Punk/Jericho, and that's about it.

One more depending on a prayer,
And we look away too...
People pretending everywhere,
It's just another Pay-Per-View...

There's botches flying through the air,
And they still carry on...
We watch it happen over here,
And then just turn it off...

Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah...
We must stand together!
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah...
Let's all watch Wrestlemania!
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah...
Hand in hand forever!
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah,
Because that's when we all win...
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah,
That's, that's, that's when we all win...
That's, that's, that's when we all win...

They tell us WWE Creative's fine,
And we just go along...
How can we fall asleep at night,
When something's clearly wrong...
When we could feed shitty storylines,
With what we throw away...
But all we post are empty words,
That always taste the same...

Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah...
We must stand together!
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah...
Let's all watch Wrestlemania!
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah...
Hand in hand forever!
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah...
That's when we all win...
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah,
That's, that's, that's when we all win...
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah,
That's, that's, that's when we all win...

The right thing to guide us,
Is right here inside us...
No ASSHOLE MOD can divide us,
But the light is nearly gone...

But just like a heartbeat,
Hear the WrassleGAF drum beat...
And the drum beat carries on,
Just like a heartbeat...

Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah...
We must stand together!
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah...
Let's all watch Wrestlemania!
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah...
Hand in hand forever!
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah...
That's when we all win!
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah...
That's, that's, that's when we all win!
That's, that's, that's when we all win!

Man I don't envy the video production team in making the Cena/Rock video package. For the other three you've got enough footage of promos and matches to make it exciting, but Cena/Rock?

What can you do with hours of footage of them standing in the ring staring at each other? I believe they can make any match exciting with their videos, but they really have nothing to work with here. They also can't just compress a boring/non-existent build down into an exciting 2 minutes, there's months of filler material they're going to have to sell as important and amazing. It's probably going to be 6+ minutes long.

On today's WrassleGaf recap, we take a trip back to December 2011 when the prospect of "Kane in 2012" was simply too much for two wrasslegaffers to handle.

Dude wat. Why are you trying to escalate things between me and SoulPlaya again. I don't like where this is headed.

Man the themes for WM mostly suck this year. Why are there four?

I get that two of them are for Cena/Rock and Taker/HHH respectively (and those two are the only ones that are appropriate/decent) but what's with the two others?

Why is there a Madonna song as a theme song? I've never heard it played on WWE TV once. Is that for the Divas match or something?

EDIT: Now, I like Memory Remains just fine and it's fairly appropriate for what they're going for with Taker/HHH, but is it standard for more than the main event to get a theme now? The Invincible song they've got for Cena/Rock isn't my thing, but it's not terrible and it fits the match well enough. It's the "Good Feeling" or whatever song they paly in every ad that sucks balls, god damn it's terrible.

This feed is stuttering like crazy.

Wait why am I even watching this "wrestlemania" when it will most likely disappoint, I hate wrasslegaf.
